I was in the market for a truck and Gengras had a nice Frontier Pro 4x for sale. I did the pre approve option online from their website. Was pre approved and they made an appointment for me to come look at the truck 2 days later. Absolutely loved the truck and we started the process I met with Riley their Product Specialist and she walked me through everything on the truck and took me for a test drive. Josh the Sales Manager got me set up with some awesome financing. They told me they wanted to do a full inspection on the vehicle and detail it and it would be ready in two days. Two days later I met with Connor to complete all the paperwork and drove home with a new truck. I have to say Riley, Josh and Connor made this whole process absolutely wonderful. It, honestly, could not have been any easier. The whole team is very customer oriented and very knowledgeable. I am very happy with the purchase and the service I received and if I am in the market for another vehicle this will be the place I go.
As a loyal ford customer ( more than 120 cars ) im sad to say I will never buy another from gengras . I brought my explorer in for service and was given nothing but a run around and unclear reasons as to what was wrong or what was being done to fix it . Customer service end of things ( Jenny ) I found rude and pretty had to beg to get calls . The car was over charged for work performed in the 3 weeks it sat there right down to the last moment when I was charged 430 dollars in labor for something that took 35 minutes ( wish I got paid that rate ) … do yourself a favor and google gengras ford customer complaints …pretty much everything that comes up I am experiencing . Sadly I miss Crowley and will no longer be buying my cars at this location .
Worst dealership to do business with. General manager Dave is very combative. If you lease a vehicle, they will charge property taxes with your lease payment. I asked if I overpay the taxes, will you refund the difference. I was told no, Ford Credit Company will keep the overpayment. Try another Ford dealership. They are not nice people to do business with. Everything is an argument with them. They do not make the experience enjoyable.
I found my experience at Gengras Ford to be most favorable for many reasons. My Loncoln MKZ had a bad water pump which unfortunately is a very difficult and expensive repair because it's located inside the engine behind the timing chains. I had it quoted at another service center and they quoted the job but said they were not even interested in tackling it. I then had it towed to Gengras and they gave me the same price along with a video of my car showing exactly what was wrong. My car was finished just a few days later and came out great. Shortly after that the spring broke on the strut in my front end so I brought it back. When they quoted it I explained I didn't have the funds to pay for it at that time due to the water pump repair. The service manage then very kindly gave me an enormous discount so I wouldn't have to drive the car in an unsafe condition. He only charged me for parts which absolutely blew me away. My car is perfect now thanks to their great work and generosity. I would also like to mention their friendly, professional staff and immaculate facility. Even though it's a bit of a distance from my house, I plan to use them on all my future repairs and new car purchases.
I have been waiting three months for my $500 deposit to be refunded. They have used the excuse that they did not have the card number on file any longer, that the sales manager left etc. They are dishonest and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.
Gengras Ford clearly doesn’t take our feedback seriously. They are liars and cheats. Do yourself a favor and go to Litchfield or Danbury because these guys will only screw you. They couldn’t even put our front license plate on a brand new escape, and we tried for months! Absolutely incompetent.
