What Others Say

I had a great experience at Wellesley Toyota working with John Imparato! John was professional and very knowledgeable about the product! Highly recommend John to anyone in the market for a new Toyota!!

My family purchased multiple vehicles from Wellesley Toyota for a generation. All the maintenance works had been done in the same place. I even met and talked with the old owner many years ago, who is a very nice gentleman. For each service, I always gave a 5-star mark, although occasionally there had been blunders. But this time, I had to give a 4-star, not because of the quality of the service but because of the integrity to some degree. I had a car battery which reached the end of the life when shopping at Costco this year (2026). So, naturally I bought a new battery from there as a replacement. The US-made battery, group size 35, type compatible, is one inch taller than the original Japanese-made battery (which I did some research work). I had to use a wire and some threads to tie it to prevent it from moving, as a temporary solution. In the past 3 decades, I did this multiple times because understandably an original battery would last only about 8 years (at least in the old days). But this time, to my surprise, the service description said "hold down hardware broken being held in unsafe manor, replaced hardware, now secure". What they actually did was removing the original battery tray underneath to offset the 1-inch difference so the battery can be secured using a screw, the so-called hardware. Since the pandemic, and the inflation, understandably business became more difficult to make money. But the old value of being honest should still be preserved. And I do believe it is very important to the business in the long run. Personally I like this dealership very much. That is why I am willing to spend time typing this review.

I have been working with John on purchasing a new car. This is a second purchase. He is so kind and knowledgeable. We will refer him and buy again from him. he is a pleasure to deal with.

I had an outstanding experience buying my car from John Imparato. From start to finish, John was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on helping me find the right vehicle rather than just making a sale. He took the time to answer all of my questions, explained everything clearly, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. What really stood out was his honesty, patience, and attention to detail. He made sure I was comfortable with every step and worked hard to ensure I got a great deal. Buying a car can often feel overwhelming, but John made it an enjoyable experience. If you're looking for someone who is trustworthy, responsive, and truly cares about his customers, I highly recommend John Imparato. I couldn't be happier with my new car and the exceptional service I received. Thank you, John!

After dealing with a clicking/clunking noise on my 2020 Toyota Camry for almost a year, I can confidently say Wellesley Toyota has the best service department I’ve experienced. I had taken my car to multiple Toyota dealerships and independent shops over the past year, but nobody was able to diagnose the issue. I kept getting generic answers like “it’s probably the brakes,” yet the noise never went away. It became incredibly frustrating after spending so much time trying to find the actual cause. The experience at Wellesley Toyota was completely different. My service advisor, Guillermo Arnal, was professional, communicative, and kept me updated throughout the entire process. What impressed me the most was the technician’s approach. They didn’t just tell me what they thought was wrong—they test drove the car with me to experience the exact noise, then brought me into the shop, put the car on a lift, and physically recreated the problem right in front of me. They showed me the failed component, explained why it was making the noise, demonstrated how it was supposed to function versus how it was actually behaving, and took the time to explain what the part does and why it had failed. That level of transparency and professionalism is something I’ve never experienced at another dealership. They diagnosed an internal failure with the driver’s side CV axle and hub/bearing assembly, completed the repair under warranty, provided me with a complimentary loaner vehicle, and had my car repaired by the very next day. Best of all, the noise is completely gone. After almost a year of chasing this issue and getting nowhere elsewhere, it’s a huge relief to finally have it diagnosed correctly and repaired. Thank you to Guillermo for the excellent customer service and communication, and to the technician for taking the time to properly diagnose the issue instead of guessing. Wellesley Toyota has absolutely earned my trust, and I won’t hesitate to bring my vehicle back in the future.

I recently purchased a new car and had the great fortune to do so with John Imparato at Wellesley Toyota. John was professional, knowledgable, friendly and very customer oriented. John made the sales and trade in process transparent, stress free and seamless. My experience with John and Wellesley Toyota was outstanding and I give them my highest recommendation.
