What Others Say

I had a very great experience at Toyota Santa Monica! AJ and his manager Hector were incredibly easy to work with and provided excellent customer service. Highly recommend working with them!

The service manager Fadi Awed is the best!! He’s trustworthy!! He cares so much, takes care of customers needs and make sure their car is leaving the deal ship 💯 fixed!!! ! He always makes sure his employees do the right work and treat customers in the most caring way. His priority is always the customers satisfaction. I came to the dealership unhappy, and left very happy. Thank you Mr. Fadi Awed. Thank you for everything. His employee named Curtis, is most caring and professional. Thank you Curtis ! I love the service department at Toyota Santa Monica

The Santa Monica dealer ship is a great one when it comes to the service department, but the sales manager Guillermo Galicia , who goes by ARNOD, is the worst nightmare. He lies and tells tells. He promised to swap my car, because they are some problems with it. He told me that Toyota has a special car warehouse with all the new cars in the Car warehouse name is “Marina”. He is not to be trusted. When I had an appointment with him, he sent me home, because he was too busy. This person gives Toyota a bad name.

I bought a use 2012 Scion xB from here on 04/10. They gave me the keys and there were two keys without the flob and what looked like house keys. When I got home I found that the gas cap had a lock which they never told me about. The tires were also over inflated at ~50 psi and when I lowered the pressure to 35 psi the check tire light has been on since. I also found that the key hole on the door was never rekeyed so I had to get it replaced. I also got the Golden State Warranty by Protective and canceled it on 4/14 as I had time to reread what it entailed. I canceled it in person and the finance lady, Dani, didn't want to give me the physical cancelation paperwork and only let me take a picture of it. Two weeks later I was given no update so I called both numbers on Dani's business card called them 17 times in 5 days; each time I left a voicemail. Finally she answered and was reluctant to give me an answer then she finally emailed me the cancelation form. She also told me that Protective would issue the refund. Over a month later I call Protective and they said that it was on the dealership to issue the refund.

cordial and polite but deceptive. promises are not fulfilled. call back and updates are very poor. I signed a contract and cancelled it the next day orally. the vehicle is still on my property and the replacement car has not been found. I was told to wait and give them another week to replace. Meanwhile, i am waiting on the replacement

I would like to extend my highest praise 10 stars to Toyota of Santa Monica, particularly to Arnold Funes, the Internet Sales Manager. After conducting some research last night, I became interested in leasing a brand new Toyota Prius XLE. I submitted an inquiry through an automated system that notifies all Toyota dealers, and by morning, Arnold was the first to reach out to me. At 11 a.m. sharp, Arnold was ready to discuss the details. He texted me, saying, "It's Arnold from Toyota Santa Monica. We can do $3,000 down and $380 per month. That's the best offer I can provide for you." A few hours later, I was inundated with calls from various Toyota dealers across Southern California, each employing the same sales tactics. However, none of them came close to matching Arnold's offer. Even after I shared the details of Arnold's proposal, many dealers expressed skepticism and joked that I might be getting played. Ultimately, the deal went through, and I ended up with an even better offer. This dealership is genuinely committed to their customers, and Arnold's dedication and work ethic certainly deserve recognition and a raise. I wholeheartedly recommend Toyota of Santa Monica to anyone serious about leasing a new vehicle. If you're in the market, this is the place to go.
