I took my car here to be serviced. They were extremely untimely, and my service advisor was a poor communicator. I was told my car needed to be there on a Friday at 7:30 AM, and it was not looked at until late Saturday. I was then told my car would be ready to pick up by Tuesday, but it was not pulled into the bay to be serviced until the following Monday. While towing my car into the bay, they broke my shifting mechanism. I was not made aware of all charges before they proceeded with services. I was told they were towing it into the bay but was not made aware there would be a cost. I have insurance that will tow my car for free, and I would have elected to have this covered by insurance if I was made aware of the cost. Maybe my car wouldn’t have been damaged if this would have been communicated to me. I will not be returning for service from FLow VW. This is my second bad experience with them. After my first poor experience an employee gave me a card for a free detail. I gave this to a staff member when dropping my car off this time, and they did not complete the detail. I pay half the cost for better quality work at a local repair shop where their employees are honest and timely.
I purchased a used vehicle, this was my 4th purchased and my experience wasn’t good. I had buyers remorse the next day and took the vehicle back and expressed it. I was never told about the 3 day return policy. I even spoke to the manager about it and he assured me that he would help. He procrastinated and when he told me to come back it was too late. I had passed the 3 day policy. When I took the truck home it was dirty inside they didn’t do a good job at cleaning it. Then the guy that sold me the truck said he would clean it himself. He returned the truck to me and I didn’t look through it good and it was still dirty. When I went for my first service I found out that I was driving without an inspection sticker for nearly three months. The service guy told me that a dealership isn’t suppose to sell a vehicle without the inspection. I told him that I bough it from them. Then under the hood was sooooo dirty. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER FROM FLOW they are not for the people only to make money. If I was a white personal I believe my treatment would have been better. Or maybe my treatment was this way because I didn’t but a new car. There were other things but I would be writing for days.
Extremely unprofessional dealership. They will run your credit and once you are approved they , wait for you to get insurance on the car your leasing/ buying, a deposit check and then tell You you can pick up Your new car. HOWEVER once you’ve done all of that when you come to pick it up they change the terms at the last minute. Sales people were professional, but the financing and management was untrustworthy and didn’t follow through on what they originally promised. DISHONEST AND UNTRUSTWORTHY WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP, this will end up costing you money, time, and leave you frustrated, I Went to two other dealerships after my experience there and within minutes, I had approval and purchased a new car.
I had such a great experience buying a new (used) car from Flow Charlottesville. I highly recommend Carson Thompson, who was extremely helpful, professional, and considerate. I would definitely buy another car from Carson and Flow.
