This was hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever been through. I went to look at a Subaru Outback and after testing the vehicle said I wanted to get it as long as the inspection went through. The salesman I was working with printed off the quote which I have attached and I scheduled my mechanic to come do a prepurchase inspection. The next day as I am driving with my father in law to the dealership I get a call mechanic saying that they refused to let him see the vehicle as they needed to take it into the shop for repairs. He said they were rude to him and as soon as they realized he wasn't a customer were uninterested and cold. Since I was already on my way I figured I would stop in and see what was going on. I ended up talking with Rick in sales and he reiterated what he told my mechanic. When I asked him what was wrong with the vehicle he said he didn't know. We talked with him about how unprofessional this was as I had set up an appointment for a prepurchase inspection and no one bothered to inform me that they decided spontaneously that this wouldn't be possible. Later in the conversation he said it was still at the dealership. When I asked if I could see it he said, no. Also a red flag. At this point he decided to mention that he actually did know why it was in the shop, the sunroof stopped working. I told him that was fine and that I was still interested and he said he would call me as soon as it was available. Two days later I get my first call back from him saying he sold it to someone else. The amount of lying and general shady behavior of these salesmen has led me to the 1 star rating. Rick specifically is the salesman who lied straight to my face. They not only lied but they wasted me, my family and my mechanics time. I was preparing for a road trip and I had already had my tires rotated at Les Schwab. I told the dealership NOT to rotate my tires and they went ahead and did it, not listening to my important request. I have now driven a couple thousand miles on tires that are in the wrong position and are now getting extra wear and tear due to Hyundai's incompetence. I would not recommend taking your care here for service.
This review is the result of a poor experience we had at Beaverton Hyundai service department back in July 2025. I wrote a pretty negative review based on our first time experience there. It wasn’t good but I’ll have to say, after posting my review and filing a few complaints, I was contacted by Dustin, who works for the dealership and he did everything he could to make our trip there less painful. After a lot of going back and forth he was able to own responsibility and cover our service bill plus some goodwill funds. We are stoked that someone took notice of our issues and reached out to us and made it right in the end. Great work Dustin. For that, I am changing my review of the dealership to 4 stars.
Christian was very professional when helping me with my 8k service. The time estimate for the work was spot on. The waiting area was very comfortable.
I was disappointed with the estimate given to me for services. Spencer was kind enough to knock off a couple hundred dollars from the total, That was very much appreciated.
This is for Spencer in the service dept. I came in for what I thought was an A/C problem on my Santa Fe. After explaining the problem, he came out and looked at the A/C and showed me what I was doing wrong. He assured me that was often what people didn`t understand and it was all good. Spencer is a really knowledgeable service advisor! Thanks Spencer!
