First, let me start off positive....Ken Fields (salesman) was great. Not only is he one I would consider to be a friend, he was the only reason that I actually leased the '06 H3 from this immoral dealer. Ken and I had discussed the lease price w/o my trade. Upon arrival, I had the manager appraise my 1998 BMW to be traded. There was negative equity in my trade. That negative equity is suppose to be added to the pre-negotiated lease payment I had worked out, plus a little for interest because it brings the amount "financed" up. Now Gus comes waddeling in the office and states that with $5,000 total out-of-pocket my payment is no longer $349.00. This is understandable. I now have negative equity in the deal. He foolishly states that it breaks down like this...$369.00 + $118.00 for the negative equity. WHAT HAPPEN TO $349.00 + negative equity!!! The little xxxxx that he is doesn't have the morals to admit that he made a mistake and keeps going with his lie saying "the $20.00 is a depreciation charge." When all is said and done, I did get the $349.00 + negative equity + a bit more interest. Here's the ironic part...I sold cars for 3 years and was able to catch this blatant molestation of an innocent consumer. Now imagine what this xxxxxxx will do to those not experianced in car buying/leasing. BEWARE & GOOD LUCK!!!!!
