What Others Say

We love the sale person who help us to find and secure the vehicle we loved. Not only was he helpful in his manner on the communication of every level, he is also willing to work on deal on the customer's perspective. It is a very pleasant process to purchase our vehicle from him and this dealership.

HI you sent me a survey asking how my experience was with your dealership. i found your dealership from a corvette Facebook page. i put down a 1,000.00 to hold a spot to order a zo6. well on 2 different occasions your sales team posted they had z06 allocations to order open to the public on Facebook. when i had a 1,000.00 deposit to get my order first they went to the public first, then the day came when i was called to put my order in. that went well that was the only part that was good! as i waited for my build to arrive i seen your dealership selling corvettes at 12k off MSRP with room to move. & custom orders at 8k off MSRP. then i get the call my car has arrived we talk price i get told sorry we will never give a person 12k off a custom order. i get pushed to pay for the car before i arrive very hard. well, a few days later there is a post on the corvette Facebook pages where a customer has placed an order with my salesperson at 12.5 k off MSRP. this customer posts the salespersons name & THE SCREENSHOT OF THE 12.5K off MSRP. well, my opinion not to long after this is posted your main salesperson gets on and try's to explain how they can do this price for this customer. not a minute goes by & i am tagged in this post by my salesperson. my opinion to cover their xxx on how they will not meet me at the 12k off my MSRP. i respond to the post how i was told they will never give 12k off a custom build & you wonder why people cannot stand salesmen. well, this did not set to well with my salesperson. my salesperson got on & started talking trash about me keep in mind he tagged me in this post. that should had been my time to run from this sale. well, a few days later we agree to a OTD price that i was pushed to pay before i arrived with my 1,000.00 deposit i already paid i then wired the rest of the money in full. then i was pushed to do the paperwork b4 i arrived. well i get to DTW i text my salesperson he is pissed off about a ride that he says he has waiting for me at DTW. she the ride had texted me to say hey i am running late i let her know i had a rental car. well i get to your dealership i am greeted by a salesperson who says i am filling in for your salesperson. Now keep in mind i had just texted my salesperson 30 min ago he never said Hey i will not be there to finishes the deal. i go to paperwork now my OTD price has now gone up 1,000.00 i pay the difference in cash seeing credit card is a 3% up charge. i find a few issues with the car that i was told would have to be taken care of in Florida. i let them know i was not taking the car till the next day due to the snowstorm. the next day i set up a ride to get my car a driver very nice guy! picks me up. my salesperson is there he goes gets my car he never shows me how to work anything on my new car. i get the keys & leave i get 2 miles away and see dealer demo mode flashing on the screen this salesperson left my car in demo mode for me to drive 1,300 miles home. i have to text my salesperson to find out what is wrong with the car i get told to flow the on screen prompts to get out of dealer mode great job salesperson. then on 2/19 i get a text from my salesperson hey you owe 8,500 plus & ps you shorted us 1,000.00 see you signed paperwork he states. also please wire the money! the faster you do this the Sonner you will get your title & 90 day tag a few hours later i get a text with a ?. Then i get a few different people from your dealership calling. then about a week goes by there is a discussion on the corvette Facebook pages were my salesperson starts trash talking me sharing my text on my purchase with him on the post he goes to my personal Facebook a screenshot my posts then post them to the corvette Facebook page. he posts my credit card info form one of or text and email's where we had been doing the purchase of the new corvette. he just kept posting my personal text & emails on this corvette Facebook post his boss got on the post & trashed talked me & i h

Stopped in to get some ideas to see what type of vehicle I might like and Lafontaine Chevrolet Plymouth staff immediately went to work. Turns out the 2nd car they showed me was a perfect fit for me. They were courteous, no pressure and very informative. It had everything I wanted. Kudos to those that helped make this happen

HANDICAPPED, DISABLED ELDERLY FEMALE. WENT TO TEST DRIVE A CAR. ENDED UP PURCHASING THE CAR TO FIND OUT ONE WEEK LATER IT SHOULD'VE BEEN TOTALED!! BODY SHOP SAID GOOGLE THE VIN# 1GNEVGKWXPJ223515 AND CLICKED ON IMAGES AND SAW A HORRIBLE WRECK INCLUDING AIR BAG DEPLOY! NOW I CAN'T GET A RESPONSE. I WISH THEY WOULD'VE SOLD ME A GOOD CAR LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE! NOW I'LL BE PAYING ON A CAR I CAN'T DRIVE FOR THE NEXT 72MOS!! THEY SHOULD FIX THE DAMAGES TO MAKE ME WHOLE AND TO SAVE THEIR STANDARD OF A UPSTANDING DEALERSHIP!! LaFontaine is crooked! If you got a good deal, thank your lucky stars!

I have had an issue with this car for over 2 years. when temps are above 85 degrees, and driving a distance, and are below 1/4 tank. The fuel gauge goes to 0 the fuel light come on, and the check engine light comes on. Brought the car to the dealer on Friday so they could see the check engine light on and they could get the codes. Which is what one of the service writers had told me to do, so they could see the problem. Brought my wife car to Lafontaine of Plymouth for service of a 2020 Equinox. Dropped of car on Sunday night for Monday service. I went by Monday afternoon to see how it was going. When I got there they told me that it would be 4 or more days before they would be able to diagnose the vehicle. He showed me a stack of service work orders that were all waiting for service. My wife called another dealer and they said they could diagnose it on Tuesday morning. We pulled the car from that dealer and took it to another dealer to get it repaired. If you have that much service work then I think you need to stop taking car in. I have purchased all of my car from Lou LaRich Chevy, now LaFontiane. They have not improved under new management. I guess I need to find a new Chevy dealer.

Leased a new Tahoe and had the absolute best experience thanks to Thomas Bemer! He was able to send me walk around videos prior to coming in and made the whole process a breeze while answering every question I had! Defiantly not the average car salesman, he genuinely wants to make sure his customers are happy
