2025 equinox, clock not working, garage remote not working, and service all wheel drive coming up! scheduled service apt, they did not have loaner car for me i waited 3 hrs and they could not get problem solved handed keys and told me to make another appt and leave car for a whole day! very disappointed with this service! going to Rundes in East Dubuque!
I highly recommend McGrath Chevrolet! From the first inquiry, until we drove our new car off the lot Kyle was absolutely amazing. He helped us find the perfect vehicle that was not only the style we were looking for, but had all of the features on our wish list and most importantly fit our budget. Everyone we worked with in addition to Kyle was so kind and helpful (Tyler, Michelle and Dave). They all took the time to answer any questions my husband and I had, even offering extra useful information. They talked to us like friends, never being pushy or acting like we were just a numer buying a vehicle. We walked away with not only the perfect vehicle for us but a piece of mind knowing we made the right decision. We bought our 2025 traverse on 19 December. Talk to the finance guy and he talked to us into buying the interior and paint protection for an extra thousand dollars. Had to set up a date for service to get some minor flaws taken care of. One month later we have an appointment,. We were to take it in on Monday so they could wash it and treat it for the interior and paint protection on Tuesday. My husband asked him if they were going to wash the underside they said probably he said well I just under coated it will that matter ?they said that should be no problem.Gave us a loaner with three low tires and an empty tank of gas. We had to put gas in to get it all the way home. 45 miles away.Called Tuesday said it was done. My husband went in Tuesday to get it and said they brought it around and it was just as dirty as when he took it in. Ask them what they had done to it. they said they under coated it. He said what I did not want undercoating that was already done. So he left it and they called Wednesday and said it was done. We went to get it Wednesday, and the minor flaws were still on the side. There were smear marks all over the vehicle on the outside where they had wiped on the paint protection. They said they were pretty busy in the shop, but they would fit it in so we left it There .made two stops on the way home and got a message from Magrath wanting to know if we could bring the car back because they had it sold .so we took it back and then gave us a second loaner. They said it had enough gas to get us home and back. They called Friday. Said the vehicle was done when I got there. I opened the door and it looked like overspray and smear marks of something on the interior so i questioned the. Salesman who helped me about that he didn’t know anything about it I said we paid $500 for the interior protection. What did they do? He did not know so he went to find out after asking several people. He came back with Marcus. Marcus did not know what the interior protection was so he went to find out,. He said that was the finance guys thing and he was in a meeting. But being a salesman wouldn’t you think they would know what the interior and paint protection was? Everyone was friendly enough to work with. Marcus came back and said that it was the seats and carpet treatment and I showed him what the interior doors look like and told him to tell me if I was expecting too much ,he said he would .But he didn’t think I was. He said he paid more for his than $500 and he worked there. So being a little disgruntled when I left there hoping the future service with them is 100% better. So when I got home, wipe down the interior doors to get the smear marks of whatever was on them, lifted the floor mats and there was dirt and pebbles underneath the floor mat so they must’ve sprayed the carpet protection right over the dirt if they did it at all. Definitely unhappy customer .Read several reviews. The unsatisfied ones were all answered with SORRY ABOUT THAT like that supposed to take care of it and make everything fine. Everyone we had contact with was very friendly and helpful. They were very knowledgeable about the products and could answer our questions. We felt like they really cared about us.
Brandon was great to work with. He was kind and patient. He gave us a great deal and we left with a new vehicle.
