I Bought My Truck In Sept. 2016, They Did Not Stand Behind The Warranty. Had The Items Checked That They Claimed Were Fixed before I Bought It, They Lied. I Wish I Would Have Checked It Out A Little Better Before I Bought It. It Looked Very Good When I Test Drove, But Even Within The First Thirty Days I Had Issues, They Would Not Fix It For Me.
We purchased a car from Village 1/2015. We had to wait a week before picking up toe car they kept saying they had to change the tires. When we finally got it the seat sat up so high and the power didn't work. I had to bring it back to them and they lowered my seat but still no power to adjust it. I then had to change the water pump 3 separate times because the car kept over heating. I've put in new brakes, water pumps, thermostat, and radiator. Also, a new transmission along with an axle. All of this since 11/2015. Today is 9/21/16 and I haven't driven my car in 2 months because it's over heating again. I've reached out to Village and no one has answered. I have to borrow my mother's car to get to work. I also had to quit one job because of the transportation issue. I brought my car to a mechanic to told me I need a new motor. So now I'm stuck paying a loan on a car that I can't drive.
I wrote a google review, and I don't want to say the same exact thing, but basically I went out on a limb after reading some of these reviews but a friend of mine recommended it to me and I have to say that I think it paid off. After shopping around at several different places I found the best deal here. The staff treated me very nicely and were informative and helpful. I specifically spoke mostly with Peter (with a long polish last name).
I bought a 330xi from Village and was treated very well by Peter and Jef. They found the financing, gave me the basic extended warranty for free, and the car was priced right according to KBB. Friendly and accommodating, they handled all the running around to get me registered and setup with my current insurer.
On 5/17/2014, I purchased a Nissan Maxima from Village Motors. I paid the Sales Tax to register the vehicle out of pocket. To date, which is June 25, 2014, the vehicle is still not registered. I have contacted the RI State Police regarding the fraudulent activity regarding the Title to the vehicle. I have filed a complaint with the Dealer Commission and I am in the process of obtaining a private attorney. Village Motors came up with every excuse regarding my registration, from the "runner is still at the registry and has not returned yet" to "you have a tax block" to "the person who sold us the car signed the title in the wrong spot and has to come and re-sign the title". The RI State Police forced Village Motors to pay off the vehicle I trade in on 6/24/2014 - Village had already sold my trade-in. This is not the way a supposedly "reputable" dealership should conduct business. If they are not able to obtain a clean title for this vehicle, GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK AND PAY OFF THE LOAN.
I bought a 2006 VW from these people, although the salesman was very nice. I had the car for3 months then the check engine light cane on it started smoking. I bring out into them and they have it for almost four months! They say it needed a new engine! After they have it for for months They tell me they put a new engine in it, same day i get it back out starts doing the same thing check engine light goes on again! I bring out back and another mechanic that doesn't even work for village he works across the street they tell me i have to go see him he did the work! I do this and he tells me he had to order a part but that many car it's fine to drive! I wait for this so called part for about a month and no one called me. I called village they thought was already taken care of? Not one person down there knows what the xxxx is going on! I finally had to voluntarily surrender my car i couldn't afford the repairs on it. Village basically told me there isn't anything they can do about it! Now I'm stuck with no car and I'm still going to have to pay for it one way or another!DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE CHEATS AND LIARS EVER!!!!
