Took car for service and to address a couple issues under warranty. First, AC always blowing from windshield defrost vents, they re-calibrated the actuators and said couldn't duplicate issue after, so considered resolved. Next, the common problem of bad smell from the AC, they said is not covered under warranty and that they could clean and sanitize the system for $310 total which I approved. When I get my bill, I have a charge of $249 for the first issue because they didn't find a problem, even though they said is resolved by re-calibrating the actuators, then the $310.00 magically jumped to $398 all before taxes. So basically, I had a bill of $696.52 after taxes when I approved $310.00. Yes, I paid it, if not, I had to walk home and by the way air still blowing from the wrong vents. Service Manager sent me a text asking if I was 100% satisfied, of course NO! He asked why and I told him what happened and also informed him of a new passenger restraint alarm. He offered to look at the new alarm right away but ignored my complaint about the rip off.
Ty in the service department was very engaged and professional. He listened to my concerns and made the whole experience painless. Fields BMW is an all around first class operation.
Hugh patiently helped me understand the differences among the three cars I was considering. He made my purchase smooth and easy, and the car was road-ready within 30 minutes of contract signing. That's impressive on one of the busiest days of the year for car sales.
Great dealership and great service department, Jessica was fantastic. I will keep buying BMW 5 star
This dealership is like a disorganized zoo. I have been to these guys 3 times in the last two weeks just to accomplish a warranty oil change and new tire installation. Despite voicing my concerns each visit there has been zero action taken. When visiting this dealership you can expect slow service, discourteous and incompetent service advisors, a jam-packed parking lot, poor accessibility through a dangerous intersection, and a lack of snack options outside of narrow cafe hours. - A simple 20k mile maintenance made me wait in the dealership for over 6 hours. This with having an appointment! - Each time I ask for a loaner car I’m told they are booked several weeks out. Far from what you expect from a luxury car dealership. - Service advisors that are glorified clerks who act like they’re not paid enough to care. On each successive visit for simple maintenance I had to wait for hours just to get a service status. The advisor would disappear for long periods and promised text updates never appeared. When I did catch the advisor I was told “they’re working on it”. On personal inspection I’d find service hadn’t even commenced! This after having an appointment and after hours of waiting!! - While hanging out during these long visits I was disappointed to find zero vending machines. Oh they had a few popsicles, some lukewarm coffee and a soda machine but that’s it. - Located just off the interstate, you’ll have to negotiate a dangerous intersection and a lot packed with cars and unloading car-haulers. I’m now looking to trade my car for another luxury brand in the hopes of a much better service experience!
From low pressure sales to fantastic customer service! Joe D in sales has been fantastic to work with over the years and Chris W always ensures any concerns or issues are addressed during my service visits. Great team!
