What Others Say

Chris “Bubba” Andrade was our salesman @ Ken Ganley Ford West. He was attentive, asked all the right questions, and was the best salesman we could have asked for. Now, we look forward to the excellent-rated service department for future needs on our brand new 04’ Maverick. Great people to work with all the way. Thanks, Richard Boyce

I will never leave my comfort zone of Klaben Ford of Kent again, I've been a customer there for 24 years and never had any uneasy feelings or feelings of dishonesty or integrity at Klaben. After searching for months for a fun summer car, I went to Bob Gillingham's on 1/20/24 because they had a used 2016 Audi TT that I was interested in. There was a lot of confusion overall, during the test drive, offer and purchase of the vehicle. When I asked, the salesman for a copy of the safety inspection sheet that would have been done by them at take in, he offered, left and came back and told me he was sorry that he thought they had performed one, they will perform one after I purchase the car. Funny enough, later when signing the purchase paperwork, basically for consistency, I asked for clarification around the safety inspection he thought they had done. He said, "they never inspect cars initially at take in to get it cars out for sale to customers faster, it provides more inventory, and he didn't know that wasn't done yet. I believe the car was for at the dealer for 4-6 weeks, maybe longer. I negotiated a very small discount on car and a few important service items that the CarFax clearly did not show were ever performed. The check engine oil light was on when I test drove it, I questioned it, the salesman said his service guys didn't know how to remove the code. I googled it and cleared it while I was waiting for him too go for a test drive. That was the first thing that should have given me a red flag. After being at the dealer for 2 weeks going back and forth from Ford to Audi, I finally picked it up on 2/2/24, there was no sense of urgency, they had already made the sale. on 2/4/24, I was gloating and looking the car over with my family and realized the windshield had a very tiny chip and about a 16 inch hairline crack just above the wipers. I messaged the salesman on a Sunday 2/4/24 to notify him immediately. They claim I must have done it when I left the dealer, because the detail guy didn't see it taking the front wind shield illegal black film off from the (inside) of the car off. I had only driven a short drive home, and nothing hit the window. I told him that the detail guy wouldn't have seen it, because it is not visible from the inside and barely visible from the outside as low as it is. I got no response. Ironically, it's in the photos they had posted online when they had the car for sale. I kept the screens shot and when thinking about it, so I referred back to them and it's there, in the pictures they took! I also mentioned on Monday 2/5/24 in a text communication that the navigation system will not change to my location Ohio,it's stuck in Chicago, I never and never got a response. They sent me off with a key fob that didn't work, offered to replace the battery. I changed the battery myself. They probably should have done that prior to releasing the vehicle to me, that should have been in their inspection. After 4 days and about 2 total hours of driving the car, it made a funny pop sound and it got significantly louder. Come to find out it had a loose intake hose with a loose clamp. My neighbors took time out of there day to go purchase a new clamp and secure the lose hose. This should have been seen on the safety check they clam they did on my insistence prior to vehicle delivery. I did not contact Ford I lost faith in them. I was told that they contacted my insurance company to verify insurance, he me the keys and final paperwork, said you are all set and we checked the insurance, you are good to go. I called on Monday 2/5/24 to see what my new insurance premium would be, the insurance rep, in an small family owned office, stated that they had no idea I purchased the car. He got all the information from me and set up my coverage. It may be illegal to not verify insurance coverage. Not a great or honest experience as one would expect , especially with the family owned since 1957 motto! Jamie Reese

Excellent buying exp. Eric and Matt are the best. Coming from out of state they made things easy. Fair trade and no games with the numbers when it came time to sign the paperwork. Worth the trip. Will buy again from them.

Joe was extremely helpful in helping me to decide on buying my car, he was great through the entire process and the finance office gave me a great deal on my payment. Thank you all!

Eric was very helpful with getting answers from the michigan plant about my Bronco. Communication up at the assembly plant is awful. This needs to change

Mike was great to work with on the purchase of our sons mustang! Thank you!
