What Others Say

On 5/2/26 my elderly mother received 50% of the value of her trade when she went in alone. She didn't know any better and had no clue what her car was worth. They gave her $10k for a 2021 Honda CRV in excellent condition with 66K miles, then posted it for sale on their website the next business day for $27k. That's a $17K profit!!! My sister and I went to the office and spoke with Rusty (the owner). It got very ugly. They refused to acknowledge the POA that we had with us--made us get my Mom in there--got her to say that she liked the new car (2020 Hyundai Kona) and then refused to reverse the deal and give her the Honda back per our request. Ended up with an "even" swap. Not very even. My mom, who has early dementia and has a 5th-grade education, didn't understand what she was getting or signing. They took full advantage of her and kept her higher-value car despite knowing that she was not in full capacity. Buyer beware!! I have reported 44 Auto Mart for possible elder abuse as well as contacted the Bullitt co attorneys' office and the Kentucky Attorney General's office. Due to her lack of decision-making capabilities, we have POA, have her credit frozen, and handle all her financial affairs, and they still managed to take advantage of her in this way. They even found a bank that bypassed the frozen credit somehow and issued a loan for $15k for the Hyundai.

Went to look at a vehicle and they are your best friend until you ask any questions, then you are annoying to them, and they want you to leave. Most of the vehicles were around thousands of dollars higher than market. We all know they don't like repeat customers. 44 Auto Mart motto " We are 44 Auto Mart, we can have high prices and you will like it". They definitely don't inspect the vehicles when they get them in, and they don't care what you think about the vehicle. They just want you to shut up and buy it. When I asked any question or made a comment, I was instantly attacked with, I guess you are just looking, and I have several people lined up to buy this vehicle. Sales guy lacked knowledge of vehicles. Didn't say much. I went down the street and found a vehicle. Overall very condescending people. I wish I was able to talk to the owner and see if it starts there or just the "sales" team that is this way.

Do not ever buy a vehicle from here. They'll rob you blind without hesitation. You'll have better luck buying a car from a junkie

Very pleasant experience with 44 Auto Mart on my recent purchase. Would recommend them to anyone looking to pick up a New to You car or truck.

Mark Curry made this experience of buying an automobile from him 1900 miles away in Idaho a pleasure, great guy would definitely buy another vehicle from 44Auto mart .

Drove 3 1/2 hours to look at a vehicle based on the price they gave me on the phone, including a delivery charge. Got there ready to pay cash and not only wouldn't they reduce the price since delivery wasn't needed, they wouldn't even honor the original price I was given INCLUDING delivery. Salesman was super friendly though, tried everything for me.
