Timmons Volkswagen of Long Beach has a deeply incompetent service department run by Luis Hernandez. I brought in my 2021 Tiguan for a minor oil leak and paid nearly $900, only to have warning lights come on immediately after pickup—forcing me to tow it back the same day. They falsely claimed my car was in “perfect condition,” then tried to charge me another $700 for a new issue they somehow “missed.” When I refused, I was told my check engine light would “come on later,” which is absurd and felt like pressure to approve unnecessary work. They promise quality service and even a rental they don’t have—but deliver none of it. I got my car back in worse condition, with zero transparency or accountability. Get a second opinion—this place will cost you more than money.
Am letting everyone know about Timmons and how corrupt they are sadly, the finance department will manipulate figures on your contract and send the wrong information to the bank among other things. They are dishonest and care nothing about their customers. Their point of interest is to raise sales but not care about the condition of the vehicle and the buyer as well. I would recommend you visit other dealerships which are a couple of them with good service and customer satisfaction.
Sales staff were professional, caring and patient during my experience in purchasing a 2023 VW Atlas.
The employees at Volkswagen were super helpful and knowledgeable. Walked rite up and walked rite out with a new car!
