What Others Say
I really don't know where to start!!! I've been holding off on writing this review in fear of them doing something to my vehicle but at this point, I really couldn't care less. Dropped my 2021 Silverado 2500HD off at this dealership 30 July 2024, today is the 18th of January 2025 and I still don't have my truck back!!!!!!!!! While I understand that there has been a Nationwide backlog on transmission valve bodies and the dealership can't magically make one themselves, I expected to at least get a phone call every so often to let me know the status of things. I've made that clear during the multiple trips I've made to the dealership. I go to the dealership, because if I call, they just transfer to a number that just rings and no one EVER answers! Got tired of dealing with not getting any information or updates from this dealership, so I contacted GM directly. GM has been very helpful and called me directly and told me that my valve body had been delivered to Herdon that morning on the 13th of December which was a Friday. I never received any updates from Herdon. I waited until after 5p.m. and made another trip to Herdon to ask them of the status of my valve body. It was only then that they realized they had my valve body!!! (Reminder, that was the 13th of December, today is the 18th of January!!!!) I was then told the Tech's wife had just given birth and it will be a couple of days!!! Christmas came and went, New Years came and went, still no call from Herndon on the status of my vehicle!!! Finally on the 7th of January I received a call and I quote, "we have good news and we have bad news. The good news is, we have repaired your transmission, the bad news is when we went to pull your vehicle in the shop, we realized that your catalytic converter has been stolen off our lot." I was then informed that they do have them in stock, but they had to wait for approval from God knows who, (I assume their insurance company) to make repairs to my catalytic converter, but I might need to claim that on my insurance!!!!!!! Drove to the dealership to look at the damage myself and had to go inside and ask them to send someone out to close my back sliding window! That was the 7th of January and I just got back from that dealership and my truck is still sitting in the exact same place and they haven't done a thing to it!!!!! THIS POST IS 1000% ACCURATE!!!
Took my car in for repairs 3 days ago. They never even looked at it, in spite of having made an appointment. I decided to pick the car up and go elsewhere when they said they wouldn’t be able to get to it until sometime next week. No hint up front that it would be a week before they could even look at it. God only knows how long it would be for the actual repairs. This has been a real inconvenience and my car to be fixed. Get your act together Herndon!
I’ll start by saying my family and I have purchased several vehicles from Herndon with not a lot of problems. But service lately sucks. My wife took her Cruze for service and a valve cover replacement and 4 tire sensors. Service representative called (who was very nice and respectful) with a $2900 cost.
Mechanic said numerous problems. Oil pan leaking, the4 coil assembly was broken, front brakes, tires sensors and valve cover.
I chose to replace valve cover, tires sensors and coil assembly $900 +.
Got home antifreeze pouring out thermostat housing, no sensors replaced and the oil filter tube was broken.
Took it to a shop close to the house $550 including front pads for everything.
No oil on the driveway from "oil pan leak”
GOOD GRIEF!
I had an engine light on. Johnathan reassured me and within 2-3 days, not only was it fixed but GM covered the cost. I couldn't believe it. Ty so so much. I will be back for service.

I have waited almost 5 months to write this review, I brought my 2011
Buick Regal for a check engine light. The service advisor reported
that the mechanic had determined that I needed a new timing chain
and the cost to repair would be $3,200. I looked up the average
cost of repair on Google and the range to repair was from $1,800 to
a high of $2 400. It took Herndon 2 days to get back with this quote.
I live in Florida but I grew up in Lexington County SC and this dealership has
been in business for as long as I can remember. I told them that I did not
feel they were correct. I am still driving my Buick with no problems. Do
Not believe what this dealership tells you. GET A SECOND OPINION if your
car is running. THEY ARE PRICE GOUGERS. I WORKED FOR A CHEVROLET DEALER FOR MANY YEARS AND COULD NOT BELIEVE THEIR GREED.
This place is horrible they sold me 2 unreliable vehicles within 3 weeks apart ....management cares nothing about the customer .....I came in to buy the 2019 black lt tahoe they had on there lot and literally broke down the next day so yeah I'm a little aggravated with the whole deal the 17 they sold me has also been in there shop within 5 days of having it .......the smile on there banner should be turned to a frown 🙁 this place is crooks liars and thieves .....when you spend 34k on a used tahoe you would expect a bit more but again if the owner can sleep knowing they ripped me off then that's fine they ran my credit more than any dealer ever has ......don't go to Herndon .... if your looking for a used car or truck .......then having to settle for the 2017 tahoe is really ridiculous as it also was a lie ....Ethan says yes this vehicle is ready to go which wasn't true for 2 of there crap boxes they sold me ......I hope this review makes people go else where for there Chevrolet .....
