What Others Say

To say that I was extremely disappointed at my experience with this dealership is an understatement. I have never shopped for an automobile in the past where I felt like more of an inconvenience to the sales person and the rest of the staff before. After having done weeks of research on replacing my current vehicle with an upgrade, I finally decided on a Lexus RX Hybrid model with confidence that this would be the vehicle that would suit my needs from both a practical and personal perspective. I was disappointed that the exact vehicle I wanted was not available on that first day, but was willing to wait for the dealership to get the car in as it was “already allocated to them”. I was told that I would be kept up to date on the status of the arrival. I was happy to place a small deposit on this car with the intention to pay cash for the vehicle when it arrived. Two weeks later I was notified by the sales person that the car had entered Freight Status and they needed me to come by and complete the paperwork before the car arrived. Again, I was happy to do that, but was surprised when they asked me to pay in full for the vehicle that day, prior to even receiving a “trade in” value for my current vehicle. Nowhere on the documents I received was it ever stated that payment was expected prior to the vehicle’s arrival. I feel that it is bad business, from the point of the buyer, to pay in full for a vehicle that the dealership has not received and that the buyer has not had the chance to inspect or drive. The salesperson simply said that was the way they do business. I told them that they could call me when the vehicle arrives on their lot and I would come back to purchase the vehicle. The reply was that “They would be happy to do that if they don’t sell it to someone else first” with a snarky tone. At this point, I am not just looking for another dealership, but will not even consider buying a Lexus because I will never step foot in this dealership again.

From the moment I stepped into the dealership, I was warmly welcomed by friendly staff. Later, Kenzie Fields, one of the sales representatives, approached me. I’d been considering several dealerships, but after chatting with Kenzie and seeing one of the vehicles I was interested in, I decided to make the purchase. She was wonderful, and everyone at the dealership was friendly, accommodating, and it was a pleasure doing business with them.

I called Lexus of Knoxville today after seeing seven 2025 GX 550 Luxury+ models listed on their own website as “Vehicle is in build phase.” However, when speaking with Logan from their sales department, I was told that they have no GX 550 Luxury+ models available and that the dealership “does not sell vehicles to out-of-state customers.” This is confusing and disappointing. If the dealership’s website publicly lists multiple GX 550 Luxury+ vehicles as part of its inventory, customers should not be told that none exist — or that out-of-state buyers are not welcome. The information provided by staff and the website should match.

Best dealership around with immaculate service and amazing employees. I worked with Bri to buy my 2020 Lexus RC and she was on the ball! She never lacked a smile on her face, while demonstrating exceptional professionalism. I highly recommend this dealership, but even more so I recommend buying from Bri!

Do not trust this store for help with a purchase i made the mistake awful

Unless you are a local buyer, shop elsewhere! First, this (2021 BMW) was the 3rd vehicle we've recently purchased via auto web sites without any issues. The good-The response, honest evaluation and service of sales person (Colton?) was exceptional. His replies were prompt. His assessment and additional photos of the condition of the car were honest and included even miniscule blems. I had complete confidence purchasing the car sight unseen. He even picked me up at the airport. The Bad-The entire purchase process was a fiasco. First, they refuse to mark the car sold unless you finance through them even though I would be flying in from out of State. They wouldn't take a deposit or even full payment by wire! We intended to pay cash for the car rather than finance it. The car was for my wife so she finally agreed to apply for, was approved for the loan, signed all the purchase paperwork and told them I would be flying in to pick up the car. I arrived to pick up the car and was told they couldn't release the car to me as I wasn't on the loan even though ALL of the financing and purchase agreement had been completed in advance of my flying in to pick up the car! The car was not for me and I did not want the title or a loan application in my name I wound up having to apply for a new loan, wait around for approval and go through all the paperwork or I couldn't take possession of the car! Toyota Finance was great. They agreed this was absurd and told Lexus to cancel my application and re-submit my wife's application. The dealer had a million excuses why they couldn't do that? They wound up running several additional credit reports even though she'd already been approved, but finally got that done. She paid off the loan the same day and thought the issue was finally resolved, but NO. It took another several months and finally contacting the TN Attorney General in order to finally get the title from the dealer so we could get license plates for it. Apparently processing an out-of-state sale is something they just can't do?
