What Others Say

April 14, 2025 I brought my 2019 Honda Civic in to inquire about brake service (brake fluid replacement) and to replace engine oil and filter. Laine M. (Service Advisor) Informed me at that time they could perform the services requested the same day - today. So I agreed cause the fluids replacement was due. Pinegar Honda represented by Service Advisor Laine M. Asked if I would like to wait or if I needed a ride? I said I would wait. Services I requested were completed in about 90 minutes and Laine went over the service report with me then brought my car around. I brought my car home and lifted the hood to inspect fluid levels. All services confirmed to be completed as requested. Laine M. was most courteous and informed me that he was able to bring the final bill down by nearly $50 as I had presented Pinegar Honda service coupons at the time of requesting services. I thanked Laine M. for adjusting my final bill down which was under $300 down to $242. I prefer to bring my car in to dealership for services rather than taking to 3rd party for services and Laine did not disappoint rather was informative and genuinely concerned with my overall satisfaction for services performed. It is rare to get same hour service at Springfield’s premier Honda Dealership, so again I expressed my gratitude for services well performed. Laine M. absolutely deserves my praise for taking care of business and my service needs. Thanks Laine M. for coordinating a timely service! Greatly Appreciated. Wayne S. 2019 Civic EX

Reliable Honda is NOT a place you should ever visit! I purchased a 2016 Honda Accord in October of last year. Let’s talk about the MAJOR problems I had first. The first one: windshield wiper setting of Auto that still did not work. A Heat/Air setting of Auto that still did not work. I returned to the service department several times with concerns about these problems. First I was told there was no problem, second I was told then that the AUTO settings did not work in this model of Honda. I persisted. Service department decided there might be a problem, and ordered parts?? At this point the car started dying when I tried to accelerate. I took the car to my local car repair place and was told that the spark plugs were not only old and worn out, but not honda plugs. So much for checking out the car before selling!! I then talked to the Manager multiple times and was eventually offered to have the car evaluated at the service department. Reliable kept the car for two days and said everything was repaired. Both the wiper and AC/Heat still did not work on the auto settings. The spark plugs did get replaced. Today I noticed that the front bumper had been damaged. The bumper had part of the grill replaced and part of it was held together by a ZIP TIE. So not only did the salesman lie, but everyone else also did.

Dervin, with whom I delt with at the dealership was outstanding. He was courteous, professional, strait forward and went the extra mile to make sure that my car was taken care of to my satisfaction.

Came in to look at what 3 row vehicles they had available. I was greeted by the manager who introduced me to a sales consultant, Ben Wells. Ben helped search through the inventory and helped find me a few pilots to look at. The one he found was in the back of the lot. They went and got it and brought it up front for us. I wanted to drive it to the edge of town and back. Most dealers leave me with minimal fuel. Ben had a tech top the tank off for me and let me have however much time I needed. We moved our kids' carseats over, loaded up, and headed out. We fell in love with the car and decided to buy it. Ben worked with us on the purchase and walked us through the process. He was transparent about the costs. I didn't realize that cash doesn't have the buying power it used to. The dealership benefits from the in house loans so cash is no longer "king" like it used to be. The car hadn't been certified yet. We went ahead and paid to have it certified which extended the warranty. I'm glad now I bought something from Pinegar Honda instead of FB marketplace. Vehicles on the marketplace are marginally cheaper, but I wouldn't have been able to get the warranty, certification, and piece of mind that comes with this purchase.

Great experience! Jennifer Moore was wonderful to work with and made process very very easy!

I purchased a car from them about a year ago. About a month later I picked up a screw in my tire and Pinegar said it needed to be replaced that it was unrepairable. They said it would be in the next day. On my way home I stopped at a reputable tire shop to see if they had it in stock. They did and it was almost half the price of Pinegar. I told them to go ahead and put it on. About fifteen minutes later the tech called me and asked me if I was SURE I wanted to replace the tire because it was totally repairable. I walked out having only paid $15 for a repair and it's been fine ever since. Red flag. Yesterday I took my car into Pinegar for my last free oil change. They later came out and handed me an estimate for new wiper blades ($24), a new battery ($176), and a new bulb in my third tail light ($45). Based on my previous shady dealings with them I declined and decided to investigate these needs further. The bulb was a 20 second fix with a $5 bulb. I did it myself. The wipers were fine and only 3 weeks old. The battery tested fine and I've had no issues with it. I guess thinking back I should have realized that this was a shady outfit when their salesman asked us to commit a crime. Yes, you read that right. We came in to the dealership looking for a car. Specifically a Honda Civic. We found what we wanted. We were going to pay cash but it was Friday and the funds from our reverse mortgage (already a done deal) were scheduled to hit our bank account the following Tuesday (Wednesday at the very latest according to the banker). So were planning on coming in Tuesday with a cashiers check. We offered to put a down payment on it to hold it til Tuesday or Wednesday but he said it wasn't necessary. He touched base with us on Monday and I reaffirmed we'd be in either Tuesday or Wednesday latest but he was insistent on setting up a meeting on Tuesday. He told us if the funds from our reverse mortgage don't come in on Tuesday just write us a check for the full amount because it will take a few days for it to hit the bank anyway. Now of course I knew the funds would be in there Wednesday IF they didn't hit my account Tuesday but I did NOT want to commit a crime by writing a check on an account that I knew didn't have the funds in it. Fortunately, the funds DID hit my account on Tuesday but that's not the point. I should have been cautious at that point.
