What Others Say

Fast service. No hassle. No. No No more words. Only six more. This approach is annoying.

I am a mechanic since learning from my grandfather and neighbors while growing up in Kenosha WI. most were employed at AMC Kenosha. I have always been wrenching and doing so while in the USAF from 1969-1997. Then as a Harley Technician in Kenosha for another 10 years. I had an engine head gasket replaced on my 2020 wrangler from ANOTHER DEALERSHIP. I was informed that I could pick up my vehicle, but a belt tensioner was on back order. NOTE: the belt tensioner also drives the water pump to cool the engine. Yes, I understand these I'm a technician too (not cars) and have been doing so for over 60 years. The tensioner gave out after I drove it home; it screamed and then died, and I checked temp of water and shut vehicle down. I informed the dealership, and they asked for me to drive it in I said no. They sent the same Technician who worked on engine, and he tried to replace it and broke it. It was again towed to dealership. After a few days there was residue of oil on ground and drive shaft and thinking it was left over oils when it was serviced, I cleaned the engine with heavy soap suds and hot water, it did not resolve the issue. I took my Jeep to Antioch, Chrysler Doge, and within hours they informed me there were issue. The previous technician ruined the valve cover and seal, thus the leakage. They also discovered numerous bolts that were missing from oil pan, water pump housing and near tensioner. Antioch sent that dealer photos of the issues and they finally relented to have Antioch continue to fix my Wrangler. I can only imagine what has happened to other people's vehicles that technician has worked on. Along with that he had also installed a new heated steering wheel which I know doesn't work (as of 17 Sep 2025) I called dealer and there on 20 Oct 2025 and haven't heard a word from them. I will be going back to ANTIOCH CHRYSLER DODGE, for this issue TOO!
