I went out to find a new car because my lease was expiring. Thought about another make, but I returned to Subaru, because of the great help I got from Tony Bovino! Tony deserves a ten star rating because he kept a Subaru customer a Subaru customer!
I recently went to this dealer for a simple NYS Inspection with my 2020 Forester with only 15,300 miles. Thirty minutes after arrival I was informed my car had a flat tire and the Inspection had failed. I could not comprehend what they were telling me as my wife and I had just driven there without any difficulty. Reluctantly I agreed to a new replacement tire. The the service desk advised that a one tire replacement would vio;ate my AWD warranty and would be noted by them in my wehicles service history. The only way to complete the Inspection and preserve my warranty. was to purchase and install four NEW tires, I was shocked. The service dept was closing in one hour and my wife and I had no way to get home. I very reluctantly agreed. I asked for any available discount on my 4 tire purchase and the Parts Mgr finally agreed to a whopping $20 discount. Can't you just feel the ROMEO Subaru Love. I went to Romeo for a $21 Inspection with a car with 15,300 miles and went out with $1100 bill. This was my First and Last visit to Romeo Subaru.
No loaner cars, car has been in shop for over 24 hours. Service writer made a big deal about text communication for status updates. It obviously doesn't work because I had to call 3x and wait on hold for over 15 minutes.
I do not recommend this dealership AT ALL. Ive been trying to call about information on a recall. Ive called about 7 times. No one has called me back. An email was sent to every manager, NO ONE CALLED BACK.
A huge thank you to Andrew Azotea! When I bought my first new car on my own in over 50 years, he took care of me, helping me with all the choices available. He actually took me to a vehicle on site to show the options and when the car arrived, spent a lot of time going over the features. When I have more questions weeks later, he’s quick to respond.
Would give them a ten but only had the car a week. Great and friendly staff. Got a real good deal. Highly recommend them. Tyler is awesome😊
