What Others Say

kimber smythe (finance manager)is only interested in selling car and service. very hard to communicate and reach out. don't care about how you do after selling. worst dealership. don't buy your car here and kimber smythe is horrible.

The worst dealership i bought a 2017 Tuscan drove just over 2 years dec 23 of 2019 engine went they had the vehicle for 11 months. Now it leeks antifreeze. Di not buy from them

Unfortunately, we've had two bad experiences with this dealership. One when we leased the 2017 Tucson brand new and when we returned the lease and decided to purchase it with cash. We simply asked for paperwork to be prepared ahead of our appointment. Everything that was asked ahead of time was provided via email. When we arrived, we wasted an hour in their showroom as we waited for "paper work" to be prepared. They did NOT respect our requests considering the current health situation, this is unacceptable. Find another low touch dealer!

Probably the absolute worst place to shop if you are counting on something honest and transparent. I purchased a 2020 Hyundai Elantra SEL from them, on Jan 29 and they pulled out every nasty trick on me to get me to pay more than the price they advertised. First of all, they did not honor the online price quoted at Autonation, even though it explicitly mentioned that incentives are available to everyone. Then they switched my model to a demo version with higher mileage (probably had been stock, longer!!) and different color (classic bait and switch!). Then after switching my choice for a car, they further changed the price than what they quoted me, which I later find out because the numbers did not match. What ended up happening is that, instead of negotiating, they deliberately increased the payment term to reduce the payment against my wishes (72 instead of 60 and I ended up with a higher interest rate). The car ended up being ~17500 instead of the written quote of ~16700, and upon taking it up to the sales manager, neither them nor Autonation could come up with an explanation, except excuses that my car has additional protection. Surprisingly, a feature for which I did not have any sales receipt. At the end I ended up with a car that had considerable cosmetic flaws, has issues with steering alignment and was full of pet hair. Let me remind y’all that this was my first new car purchase, so I would advise and urge you to avoid Ryan Lovin, might be the best performing salesman but I guess you know why by now, also if you end up financing through them please do not fall for Chadrick Key’s tricks, he is probably one of the most shady and untrustworthy people I have ever closed a deal with. At the end of the day, the price of the demo car ended being higher than what I was quoted by other dealers for brand new cars. this is how these people do business, you can decide yourself whether you want to give these people your cash or someone else who is at least more honest and upfront.

He showed me exactly what I was looking for.........................long story short I was also shown "other" options I had that could be in my price range/monthly payment. However they were not pushy about it, I was eventually left to make my OWN decision. Unlike some car sales persons that try to talk/bully you into something you can't afford or don't want! The lady in finance was very patience and helpful (sorry I can't remember her name). Roman R. and Shawn C. were a great team! If you notice I rated the "price" four stars. Who doesn't want a better deal?!

Just bought a new Elantra GT from Jack Steffens this past weekend and coudln’t be happier with my decision. I worked with Jake over the period of about 5 weeks, and he was attentive and responsive without being pushy. He was upfront and clear in everything he quoted me and explained to me, without being secretive or sly. He was helpful, kind, and straightforward—all key qualities in a car salesman! I never felt rushed or pushed by him to make a purchase. I had a lot of negative experiences with other dealers in the area, but the whole team at Autonation Hyundai 104 was incredibly kind, clear, and helpful. They matched a very competitive offer (thousands below MSRP) and even threw in all-weather mats for my new car. I also worked a little with Marvin, and he was easygoing, knowledgeable, and attentive as well. When they pulled the car out of detail, there were a few details that hadn’t been attended to (a few scratches, smeared paint, not clean), but Jake was super efficient in getting detail to fix them right away, and was apologetic and reasonable. If you’re in the market for a new (or even used) car, I couldn’t recommend AutoNation 104 highly enough. My only minor gripe was how aggressively Shaun tried to get me to buy an extended warranty while I was in the financing office—I get that it’s a lucrative move for dealers, but my cousin offered me a more competitive deal. I’m a graduate student on a really strapped budget, and so I was looking for something safe, consistent, reliable, and (above all), affordable. So I went with her offer, but Shaun was a little pushy asking her about her own company and rates. Other than that small interaction (which I think you’ll find at every single car dealership ever), everything else at AutoNation was not only easy, but also fun. Where else can you buy a new car and have fun doing it?
