My name is Jesse Riehl. My partner, Alyssa Fiorino, and I share the use of a 2014 Ford Focus that is in her name. There have long been issues with the transmission of our Ford Focus. While interacting with the service department of the Ford dealership located in Murphy, NC we were informed that there had been an extended warranty on the parts of our transmission that were in need of repair (I believe the clutch and the bag). We were also informed that this extended warranty had passed. We were never aware of this extended warranty although the issues with our transmission preceded the issuing of this extended warranty. Over the years that we have experienced transmission issues with the Focus we have driven it gingerly and in limited fashion. We are now at a point that the transmission, and therefore the vehicle, is not functional. We are reaching out in gratitude for the wonderful possibility of Ford Motor Company doing the right thing and helping us to repair this transmission. We would love to tell all of our friends and family how grateful we are for the support and good business practices of Ford Motor Company. As stated above, we had our vehicle serviced and our transmission inspected at King Ford in Murphy, North Carolina. We were assisted by Karen in the service department. We were informed that there was an extended warranty that covered in full the specific parts that our vehicle needed. We were also informed that our vehicle met all requirements for this extended warranty at the time that it was issued. We are grateful that King Ford and it's service department may do the right thing and go above and beyond in assisting us in this process as we work with Karen Jones, executive liason at Ford Motor Company, in repairing our vehicle. Can’t seem to win at this dealership last oil change had oil dripping all over motor and running down the manifold and was a complete mess this time after oil change had 3 big oil fingerprints on my driver side seat that won’t come out of of fabric almost like they just don’t care. Never seen total disregard for the customer vehicles totally pissed me off it’s convenient because dealership is down the street from my house but will go Hayesville ford from now on
I made an appointment with service to have a door handle replaced and was given a quote for labor plus new part, so I knew what to expect. But when my car was ready I was told NO CHARGE. What??? They found the old door handle I'd left in the car, and decided I didn't need a new one. The old one just had a bolt that had come loose. They saved me around $225. I couldn't be more pleased to find an honest dealership I know I can rely on. Thanks, King Ford!
Great dealer! The service adviser was knowledgeable, pleasant, and attentive to my needs. My car was taken in quickly and serviced quickly, correctly, and returned to me very clean. Outstanding service from every member of the staff. I highly recommend King Ford to everyone!
