What Others Say

I have been a loyal customer of this dealership for years and have trusted them with multiple vehicles, which is why this experience was so disappointing. Recently, I dropped off my daughter's car for a tune-up. A couple of days later I was called and was told that the battery was about to fail and needed to be replaced. Later, I remembered that earlier this same year, the dealership had already informed me that the battery needed replacement, and they had installed a new one. This raised concerns, so I contacted the dealership for clarification. I was told someone would look into it and get back to me. Unfortunately, I never received a follow-up call. To their credit, I was not charged for another battery. However, when I reviewed the service invoice, I noticed conflicting information. One section stated that the vehicle had a "dead battery cell," while another section indicated that the "battery check" was okay. What concerns me most is not the battery itself, but the lack of explanation and communication. I have always had positive experiences at this dealership and have trusted their recommendations. However, when service records contain conflicting information and questions go unanswered, it naturally affects that trust. I am not accusing anyone of intentionally trying to sell me a battery that I did not need, and I sincerely hope that was not the case. I simply believe that as a long-time customer, I deserve a clear explanation of why the invoice contained contradictory battery assessments. I would like to continue bringing my vehicles here, but maintaining that relationship requires transparency and communication. I hope management will take the time to review this situation and provide the explanation that was promised.

Wonderful staff. Completed in a timely manor. Prices in today's market was very reasonable and quality work.

Well, I finally understand why all my retired friends have trucks! They use them!😂 So, after 11yrs of believing I was getting by with driving my small SUVs ie the Escape and Bronco Sport, I’ve finally given in and admit I’ve really needed a bed to haul things. So, off to Deacon Jones Ford of Goldsboro I went, worked with my long time friend and salesman Shane and came home with my new 4x4 Ranger! I absolutely love this vehicle! A big thank you to Shane, Rylee, Frank in services and the rest of the Deacon Jones team for always taking care of me for 20+ years now!
