What Others Say
Hello Everyone, I must share my experience at Liberty Hyundai, as it has been exceptional since I purchased my 2020 Hyundai Palisade Limited over the last five years. I've consistently driven an average of 40 minutes to their dealership despite having another Hyundai dealership about 8 minutes away from my home. My experience with Service has always been welcoming, pleasant, and understanding of both my issues and my financial budget. I recently visited their service department since I was experiencing an issue, which I thought was a misfire, which in fact was diagnosed, and I needed a transmission replacement. Unfortunately, I am out of warranty at 116,000; what to do now? I only owe about 6,000 on my loan. I spoke to Mr. Paul Vasquez (Service Manager) and shared my concerns. He recommended I call Hyundai Corporate and share my concerns and inquire how they can assist. Hyundai Corporate instructed Paul to work on a work authorization explaining what was transpiring and how Hyundai wanted to do right by its customers. Surprisingly enough, in less than 48 hrs. I received a call from Damion sharing the GREAT News that Hyundai will cover 90% of the repair, and I would be responsible for the other 10% ($380), and they would also provide a loaner while my car is repaired. Now that's a Car Manufacturer and Dealership standing behind their product. Hats off to the entire dealership since it's a collaborative team effort to stand out from the rest.
I also want to elaborate on their Parts Department since they have always taken into consideration that I've purchased my vehicle there and have always sold all my truck parts at a discounted price, again enticing me to drive 40 minutes instead of the nearby dealership.
Powerball weekend, I will be picking up a 2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy if I run into some money on the Powerball. Not interested in a luxury car, but a Company that stands behind its product and its customers...
THANK YOU, LIBERTY HYUNDAI...
Terrible dealership. They lie and don't follow through with what they say ,avoid this criminals
Although we had negative dealings with them in the past ( Waiting 2 months for door latch recall appointment, charging double for tires compared to other tires places for the same exact tires, Charging $90 to replace multiple light bulbs without my authorization, etc. ) we used them on occasion because of the distance . We contacted them for the Extended Warranty for peeling paint . They said we had to take it to the dealer we bought the car from . NOT TRUE . Corporate office said you can go to any dealer for peeling paint . I guess Liberty is quick to take your money for repairs/ maintenance but doesn't want to take accountability when their company has extended warranty for defective paint . Not to mention we did buy a previous car from them in 2013 but that didn't count. I plan to stay far away from Liberty going forward .
As a middle aged military veteran who has never bought a new car in their lifetime; going to a dealership was a little on the intimidating side. Jimmy D was great, he answered our questions and never made me feel pressured. After the used vehicle I was there to see came out to be out of budget Jimmy helped me find something within my range and, admittedly, a better fit for my needs!
Absolute pleasure and will gladly recommend anyone going by and talking to the team in Mahwah if you are looking at Hyundais! Thank you for getting me in a vehicle of the same Decade I am living in!
My salesperson, Samuel Milne was fabulous! I had seen a car posted online and from the moment I entered the dealership, Samuel greeted me with kindness and grace. He gently and easily walked me through the buying process from beginning to end with deep knowledge and kindness. This was my first time buying from a dealership and Samuel made the experience smooth and easy and fun!
My Sales Person, Daniel Lizarazo, was awesome. This was my first purchase of a Hyundai. I previously had a Jeep and a Volkswagen, but this Hyundai Tucson Hybrid is a game-changer. So, back to Daniel, he worked with me on my trade-in and got me a good price for my fairly new used car. He was very respectful and understanding of what I wanted to pay for the car. I would recommend anyone looking for a car to stop by Liberty Hyundai and ask for Daniel. Also, the manager Dilon was respectful and understanding. Lastly, Pino, the financial part of my new vehicle was also nice and got me the price I wanted to pay every month. P.S. hope the owner of Liberty Hyundai is not upset that I brought his ride 😂. I also hope that he praises Daniel because he deserves it. After all, it is hard to find excellent and quality workers these days.
