What Others Say

Avoid dealing with this dealership at all costs. Very deceptive salesmen. I was contacted by their internet sales manager Charles Stec and while being fairly rude on the phone including lines such as “do you want the car or not?” I still came to what clearly appears to be an agreement according to his own text response. The $41,000 quote was his initial quote after the first call. Then he called back and came down to $40,500 and I told him we could schedule an appointment to check out the vehicle. About an hour later I went ahead and sent the message stating if he agrees to $40,000 even we could call it a deal. He respond with “Sounds good.” So my wife and I drove an hour the next day to go to the appointment where they proceed to go back on the $40,000 and present an offer of $40,500. And in Charles’ own words verbatim he stated that he intentionally left his “agreement” to the deal vague just to get us down there. Obviously we left without the vehicle and happily found a near identical one in Raleigh for $900 cheaper. The way these higher ups handled their business and agreements exuded greasy, sleezy used car salesmen. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. .

Was scammed into coming by to sell my car. Received a written offer of $7500 and was then low-balled $4000. Apparently that price was for cars in “showroom condition”. The car is immaculate inside and out, and still smells new inside! It’s driven maybe twice a month, hence our wanting to sell it. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. They have zero concept of customer service.

Our salesman, Paul, was excellent! His wealth of experience lends to his expertise in all vehicles, which enabled for a smooth sale of the vehicle we drove away with. Dwight was also excellent in handling our finances and paperwork. His efficiency really made the transaction seamless.

Lakenya(sales associate) was awesome. She was professional and helpful and worked to get us a fair deal and delivered quickly. Brent (general manager) got involved and helped us get things squared away. Eddie Long (Finance Manager) is a real pro and genuinely kind and high integrity man. He is a real asset to battleground Kia! Get your next Kia here.

Disappointed and Deceived: Beware of Misleading Warranty at Battleground Kia Purchased a Kia Telluride 2020 EX from Battleground Kia in January, with a clear request for an engine and transmission protection plan. The finance guy offered a 5-year, 60k warranty, which sounded promising. Fast forward to March 2023, during the first oil change, I raised concerns about shaking issues, but was assured there were no problems. However, during a recent visit to my local Kia dealership in Burlington NC for another oil change, I was shocked to learn that a major issue with an axle boot was uncovered. This should have been covered under my warranty, but I was informed I had been sold a "Technology Package" that covers nothing engine-wise. It's infuriating to realize I paid $3500 for a warranty that doesn’t even protect my car, especially considering it's only 4 months old for me. It's clear that Battleground Kia's sales team prioritizes deceit over customer satisfaction. I strongly advise against purchasing from them unless you want to be misled and deceived.

Took car up there for service then was given miss information about the service it was needing.. Was told I needed to order one of their $180.00+ thermostats just for them to pull the car into the bay begin to work on it and tell me it's a completely different issue with the car that was caused on their end because they told me to continue to drive the car because it was "fine" after the $180+ diagnostic test. Now they are saying I'm needed to pay for an completely new engine in order for my car to be fixed. Highly would not suggest going to battle-ground Kia. Took it up their because we figure they would be experts on the car but was not at all literally cost me my entire vehicle . Highly Do Not Recommend !
