What Others Say

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. K at the Red McCombs Universal Toyota this past Friday. He is extremely skilled in his field. He gave me the utmost professional respect when purchasing my first ever Tacoma. My experience at Universal Toyota was amazing!

I was about to do business with them and was ready to buy a 2021 Red Ford Bronco that I was told it was available I was heading out the door and was texted back it was sold. I made peace with it being sold but two weeks later I see it still being used on their website and other sites to lure people in. This is poor business practice especially when people are excited about a vehicle. They even dipped the price on to make it look like it’s still there. I have been told a few times and also my wife it is available and I even driven by to see if it was in stock when it’s not. Poor to fool people in to thinking it’s still available I will never do business with them if they are lying to people.

My experience with Red McCombs Toyota was super frustrating. I got a Toyota SmartPath quote for a 2025 Tundra Limited CrewMax at $57,860 with 0.99% APR. Cool, right? Then I followed up and got… basically the same truck, but suddenly the price was higher with “add-ons” tacked on. Like, what? I tried to get answers, asked for a breakdown, and nothing total lack of transparency. It just feels shady that the same truck suddenly costs more and my original quote wasn’t honored. Definitely left me frustrated and losing trust. If you care about clear pricing and not feeling played, maybe look elsewhere.

I bought a used Chevy, because this is a Toyota dealership, they couldn't "cerify " my vehicle. They also couldn't get rid of it fast enough. The finance officer I worked with was not exactly truthful, he didn't print out all the papers so I wasn't clear on a few details like monthly payments & interest rate. Also the 2 year warranty is bundled into the 6 year loan. Smart people don't finance things like that. When I returned to cancel the warranty, another finance officer did print out all the paper work. I am happy with the car I bought, but not the bait & switch the salesman used to get me into dealership. Always Buyer Beware

Absolutely 5-star service from Roy! I showed up without an appointment needing maintenance and a loose part fixed, and Roy got my car in immediately. Everything was taken care of in less than an hour. Incredible efficiency and customer service. Highly recommend!

My saga started on 24 Aug when RJ said I needed a new oil pan. Stated it would be $601 but since I had an extended warranty I would pay my deductible. I had to come in at 730a the following weekend. I did and met "Sean". He said that RJ hadn't put in a claim and that, if he did it without a claim, he'd have to pay $601. His officemate confirmed this. I asked for a manager and got SK. He reiterated what "Sean"said but, when he saw I wasn't going to pay $601, he said he would pick up my car and give me a rental on Tuesday when "they" were open. When I agreed to that, he said that he would see if they could do and jumped in my car and took it to the back. "Sean" was acting as if I were "getting ugly". I had to go back to "Sean" 2x for updates and the video of my car only showed my front end. Finally, "Sean" put on the paperwork CDP (customer doesn't pay). But on my copy, it said his name was JG and RJ had put in a claim and the parts would come out to be a $28 and change. Tried calling Amanda Linsey 2x about this and when I return her calls it's always voice mail. I don't what went on there but it was suspicious and it seems the management doesn't care.
