What Others Say

My wife and I were looking for a car and so glad we went to South Coast Mitsubishi no pressure sales friendly staff help us find the perfect vehicle just for us. Would recommend them to my friends and family.

Very nice experience at South Coast Mitsubishi. I traded in my last car for a mirage hatchback. All the staff were very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Kevin was helpful in answering all my questions. Definitely will do business again!

Bought a 2019 Outlander PHEV and the sales person gave us a good deal. Over all it was a good experience. I would recommend it to friends.

Thank you KEVIN for making the exploration and decision making process easy and I am happy with my new Outlander SE. I would definitely recommend South Coast Mitsubishi to family and friends.

I'm writing in response to so many negative reviews. Normally, I only write a review when I feel I've been burned. I think that's what's happening in these reviews and SCM is not getting a fair shake. I've been to plenty of car dealerships. In general, they feel scummy to me I'm giving a 5 star rating because I trust them. Not "more than other dealers", I trust them. They've never lied to me. They didn't massage my feet, but they did give me free hot chocolate. It wasn't great, but my kids loved it. When I bought, they did the usual back-and-forth sales-rep-to-manager trips when I haggled the price. The sales people and service reps are ethical; they do not bait and switch and they stick to their word. I saw some complaints from Tesla shoppers. I've researched Tesla pricing and am appalled by how well they hold their value: far better than any other EV I've bought, which includes a Volt, Bolt and 2 Priuses. The reviews seem to me like buyers disappointed that they didn't get a good price on a Telsa when logically a Tesla price should drop by "purchase incentive rebate" plus annual devaluation. The problem is they just don't devalue like that -- they hold their value far too well. I'm considering buying a used Tesla and I'm only considering two sources: Tesla itself and SCM. The reason is the same for both; I expect them to not hide defects and I expect they will honor the warranty. Again, this is a reason for the 5-star rating. I've bought used vehicles from dealers who did not disclose issues; South Coast Mitsubishi is not one of those places.

The previous reviews gave me fair warning that I would need to be patient. I was and got the car I wanted at a good price. I would say that the same as with any service or dealer, the "150 point inspection" is never done completely. As long as you know what to look for you should be fine. Otherwise, bring your own mechanic for the inspection. I also purchased an (expensive) extended warranty so I feel pretty confident in my purchase.
