I had an absolute perfect experience. Car was as promised, fair price and the Salesman Bob was great in every way. Look forward to buying from here again soon.
Salesman was great but I would rate the dealer 0 stars if I could. Dealer practices deception, we agreed on a price and a deposit was made on the vehicle. The next day the owner told the salesman the car was being marked up $3000 over asking price because I wouldn't come in to their service center due to me being out of state..... The only consistent maintenance for an electric vehicle is rotation of tires or alignment. Website states we only sell msrp but they are like almost every other dealer right now that charges over msrp.
Had my car serviced today at Torrington Ford. Jennifer in service was very efficient and helpful and the service tech Tommy did a a great job with my repair. My car is running great now and it was a wonderful experience dealing with all there.
Have been a customer for many years and through several cars. Have always been pleased with how we were treated and the lengths the staff would go to in order to get us serviced and back on the road. Many dealings with Tom and also Jen when she worked there. Always went above and beyond to assist us. I am now relocating out of state after the passing of my husband and will gauge any other dealership I do business with against my experiences at Torrington Ford. As a former car salesman, I know that the chances a customer will return to buy a new vehicle (or used) when needed are impacted greatly by how they are treated not only in the sales department, but most definitely in the service department. I do believe, however, that the decision to stop loaners for service customers was a mistake. That decision was paramount in my buying a vehicle from a different dealership (not a Ford/Lincoln dealership) following a repair on my Lincoln MKX. As we only have 1 vehicle and are older, I must have a way to get around when my car is being serviced for longer than an hour or 2 .
Great seamless experience purchasing our F250 Super Duty! Went in at 930am and we drove our new truck home a couple hours later. Russ Haas was knowledgeable and extremely helpful in our car buying experience. Would definitely go back to Torrington Ford again and would equally recommend to anyone looking to buy a car! Great experience!
Traveled 9 hrs to get a vehicle. Was very dirty and unprepped. Very unprofessional. Tried to sneak in extra registration fees (they corrected once called out). Only reason they got 2 stars is because they did the negotiating over the phone and a lot of places wont do that, but being 9 hrs away I had no choice. Had issue w/ vehicle and their service basically said "i dont know" and refused to do anything about it. Went to a ford dealer because I had higher expectations. If I wanted this kind of service I would have went to bobs used car sales 10 miles down the road and got something.
