What Others Say

Yesenia was very kind during the process of checking in and checking out my car.

Since the minute I got there very Professional but most important Friendly..will refer family and friends ..Normal wait..Thank you Claremont Toyota

Here’s a polished version of your review: I give the customer service 4 out of 5 stars. My issue with this dealership is the wait time. I made an appointment for an oil change, but it still took 5 to 6 hours to complete. While the staff was friendly and professional, the long delay was frustrating, especially with a scheduled appointment.

I don’t understand if I have a service plan why I have to pay for service on engine filter

Agnes and I bought a used 2025 Toyota RAV4 from Claremont Toyota over the Memorial Day weekend. We are very happy with the car, but one problem with our experience is serious enough that I can not recommend this dealer or at least only with a cautionary warning. I'm almost embarrassed to make this review because I should have known better. But I have to thank Claremont Toyota for reminding me some car dealers are not honest. We agreed on a sales price for the car. On the finance worksheet our salesman added a $500 charge for "Alarm Activation". I questioned this, said our offer was for the car and everything that is on it. Long story short, our salesman told us yes, there is an alarm, but this had to be paid to activate it so it would work. He specifically told us the alarm would not work unless this one time fee was paid to activate it and so we agreed to it. The final contract just said "Rockledge" (the name of the alarm manufacturer, $500) and by that time I recognized that as the fee I agreed to, necessary to activate the alarm, and the one page form I did not read because I took the word of my salesman that it was to activate the alarm. My fault. Never miss the opportunity to read the contract fully to learn if your salesman may have lied to you. The $500 actually was for a "limited product warranty" that in case the vehicle is stolen and deemed a total loss during the term (3 years) it will pay the difference our insurance company values our vehicle at and the cost of a replacement vehicle, kind of an insurance policy. It has nothing to do with activating the alarm and was not necessary for the alarm to work. I've talked to our salesman since, and he still maintained it was to activate the alarm. I don't think he even knows what he sold us and was probably just told by someone higher up to throw in "alarm activation" fees for whatever amount he thinks he can get from the suckers. He got 500 bucks from this sucker, but lost any future business.

I was quite happy with the service Yesenia provided however the service advisor is the reason for the rating. They took apart my airbox to check the filter and they didn’t put it back together correctly and there are missing clips.
