Just completed buying my fifth Chevy from Steet- Ponte Chevy. Doing this deal was just as easy as the previous ones. Working with Bob Rodgers and Steve is always easy. I would not hesitate to do business there again.
This is my 5th vehicle from Steet Ponte Chevy, Bob Rodger is always ready and willing to help meet my needs! The environment is very friendly and organized. It's a good feeling to have such a great dealership locally.
I have been to two of their dealers and received unfair service. They fixed the wrong headlight shield. I told the service man that my left front headlight shield was misted over from the inside and needed fixing. The service man came out and I showed him the shield and was quoted almost 500 dollars because the whole front of the car needed to be replaced. The work was done and all seemed fine. A year later I went back because the shield was misted over again. Their records showed that they replaced the left front shield which is what mechanics refer to as driver side left front. Since I am not a mechanic I referred to the left front by viewing facing the vehicle. Why would an intelligent mechanic replace a part that looked okay? Don't they look at what they are fixing and realize that something is wrong with the order? Another time years ago with a different vehicle I went to the dealer for an oil change. I said I needed new windshield wipers and was astonished at the high price. However I paid the bill and at some point realized why my bill was so high. I said windshield wipers when the term should have been just the rubber blades. Back then you could just purchase just the blades. Why wouldn't their service man question replacing the entire mechanisms when they obviously work fine and say miss you must mean the rubber blades. Nope. Also sold me four tires that never made it through the summer.
I enjoy visiting and working with the staff at this dealership. I have been trading with them for over 20 years. I have no complaints with anyone.
My first service went well. The oil was changed and tires were rotated in no time at all! Everyone I encountered was polite and professional.
I’d like to personal thank Bob Rogers for going above and beyond with every question I had pertaining to my new pickup. I’d also like to thank Dan Brown as well. Another great sales person who actually cares about the customer after the sale. It’s nice to know there are people in the automotive sales business that want there customers happy.
