What Others Say

It was a great experience. We ended up walking out with my dream mom suv!

We bought a new Ford truck from this location about 10 years ago, so when that truck got old we went and bought a new one. June 2024 after sitting there all day long we finally left with a 2024 Ford F-150. Truck has been great until recently, despite the initial frustrations of it taking about 6 months to get the second key sent to us when we first purchased the vehicle (sent us home with a key to a ford expedition as our spare key). Truck is now 2 years old and the AC went out!!! Called the dealership right away and the service guy said “well, unfortunately your warranty has expired” because it was at 36,499 miles (only 499 miles over warranty). Tells me I can bring it up there but it would take about 2 weeks before they could even look at it and diagnose the problem. This doesn’t even count repair time… We HAVE TO have this vehicle to work, so that is ABSOLUTELY NOT an option for us, but I am an understanding person so I do understand that others have been waiting for their vehicle ahead of us. The service man TOLD ME TO TAKE IT TO A MECHANIC SHOP BECAUSE IT WOULD BE CHEAPER TO FIX. So that’s what we did. Other mechanic looks at it and immediately called ford motors, then tells us this is a KNOWN FACTORY PROBLEM, that this particular model of F-150 has a known problem of the AC compressor locking up because of the particular kind of compressor this year truck has. That they stopped building trucks with this compressor because it’s faulty. We then paid almost $1,600 to get this FACTORY PROBLEM fixed because the part alone was $1,000, not including another belt (original belt broke when it locked up) and then there’s labor. As it’s being fixed I called ford motors to see if there’s any type of financial assistance they can give us, since the truck is still new and it’s not our fault it has a factory defective part. The lady told me that IF I WOULD HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALERSHIP, THEY WOULD HAVE ESCALATED THE MATTER AND FIXED IT FOR FREE UNDER THE GOOD WILL PROGRAM. But because the service advisor told me to take it to another shop I followed his instructions. So imagine the frustration of being told after the fact that they would have paid for it and escalated it if we had gone ahead and taken it to the dealership, but because we took it to an outside party they are unable to cover it. I will NEVER buy another vehicle at this dealership again. The right thing to do would be for the service advisor to tell us to call Ford Motors to see if there were anything they could do to assist, with the truck being that new and BARELY being over on the mileage. Thats what I would have done if it were me. If they truly cared about their customers they would have done that. But instead he was rude and short with me and told me to take it elsewhere and we are now out an extra $1600 on a new truck that we already pay a thousand dollars a month on. BEWARE when purchasing from this place. They’ve now lost our family’s business. Sad thing is, is I was about to go buy a third vehicle from them, but not now.

Dealing with this business has turned into a complete nightmare. From lack of experience to even replicate a problem, let alone repair the issue. They dragged their feet for months not fixing anything properly and kept putting a bandaid on things until the warranty ran out. Now the dealership wants to pass the issue on to Ford customer service which is absolutely useless and another legal tool for the company to make customers get tired and just walk away from what they deserve. Won’t buy it back, because we provided a loaner vehicle. Won’t buy it back because it has passed the warranty period. Won’t buy it back because the mileage is now at 38000 miles. Pay is over $700 for a door ding on our loaner because it happened while you drove it. They completely disregard the fact that this issue started well within the warranty period. They also refuse to accept that I didn’t want the stupid loaner and they forced me into it by wanting to park my vehicle in their shop for months at a time! Unbelievable a company this size would allow its customers to be screwed over like this.

My experience with Mac Haik Ford was great. We agreed upon a price for the vehicle I wanted and they had all the paperwork completed within 45 minutes so I didn’t spend hours at the dealership.

I purchased a 2021 Ford F-150 STX from this dealership( 10333 Katy Freeway Houston, TX 77024) and was told by the sales representative that the spray-in bedliner included a lifetime warranty and could be resprayed when it wears down. Recently, after 5 years I brought my truck in because the coating has become thin over time. I made the effort to prepare for the appointment, including removing my bed cover and even canceling work to bring the vehicle in. However, the service department refused to honor the warranty, stating it only applies if the liner is cracked or peeling. This is not what was explained to me at the time of purchase, and I was never provided written warranty terms clarifying these limitations. A bedliner typically wears down—it doesn’t just crack or fall off under normal use. I also spoke with Roy, who handles the bedliner work, but the request was still denied. This was a frustrating experience and feels misleading, especially considering the time and effort I put in based on what was originally promised. I hope management reviews how these warranties are explained and works toward a fair resolution.

Israel was great to deal with. I would highly recommend working with on future purchases. He was good to understand what I was looking for and then present me with a few options that worked for me within my budget.
