I am writing to express serious concerns regarding the service experience we have had following the recent purchase of a truck from your dealership. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, it began making an abnormal noise. We brought it back to the dealership, where we were informed that the issue was not covered under warranty. Given how new the vehicle was, the dealership agreed to split the repair cost with us. The repair was completed, and we paid approximately $1,500. Unfortunately, not long after, the same noise returned. At that point, my husband sought a second opinion from another service provider. We were advised that the same issue was present and that the original repair had been performed incorrectly. The issue has since been properly repaired elsewhere. I contacted the dealership to request a refund of the original repair cost, given that the work was not done correctly. I was told that the work order could not be located and later informed that the repair had been outsourced. I was then asked to bring the vehicle back in, despite the issue already being resolved. Given that the problem has been fixed correctly and we have documentation and receipts clearly outlining the original issue and repair, bringing the vehicle back in does not seem reasonable. I was advised that the General Manager could contact me, which I welcome. However, I am extremely disappointed by the handling of this situation. This experience does not reflect good business practices or ethical customer service, particularly when the issue involves a newly purchased vehicle and documented improper repair work. I am requesting a refund of the $1,500 paid for the original repair and would appreciate prompt follow‑up to resolve this matter appropriately. The GM called and said I would have to work with the Muffler place they outsourced the truck with. We did not know they were outsourcing it. Also they said the repair was 3k and would split it as our cost would be 1500.00 which is half. After talking to the Muffler place (who was very nice) I find out that the cost to fix it was only around 1500. they are sending me a receipt. So we paid all of the repair.
Always have a great experience when coming to Janesville Nissan. There staff is very professional and always willing to help. Would recommend them to everyone. Carly in service is the best.

Everyone was super helpful and nice. I didn’t feel pressured to buy something that day, but if the right deal was there that was the plan. They worked really hard to make sure they got me what I was looking for!
