I had a disappointing experience at Friendly Honda in Springfield, IL. After a fuel injection recall repair, my dashboard lights started blinking uncontrollably just a few miles from the dealership. When I returned, multiple techs dismissed my concerns, insisting the issue wasn’t their fault. One even sarcastically asked, "Oh, are you a mechanic?" when I pointed out that the problem arose only after the repair. Instead of taking accountability, they claimed I would be responsible for fixing it. Their lack of professionalism and refusal to acknowledge their mistake were unacceptable. I will not return to this dealership.
Excellent service with knowledgeable sales staff, Devin was excellent, very helpful and worked hard to get us the vehicle we wanted and that met our needs. There pricing was very competitive, and the selection of vehicles was good.
Brought my car in to get an oil change and replace a broken mirror. Made an appointment, the service department ordered the wrong part so now I have no mirror and they forgot to reset my tire pressure so I got half way home to find out I needed to turn back. Absolutely unacceptable the staff makes you feel as though you’re inconveniencing them
I went in for an A17 service. The service person said oil change? Yes. Tire rotation? Yes. Brake fluid exchange? Thinking it was part of the A17, I answered yes. The bill was almost $300! The receipt states, "Customer requests brake fluid service. I did not "request" it, I looked it up, and a brake fluid exchange is not expected until 30,000 miles. I have 14,000 miles. This trusting "sucker" won't be fooled again.
I have rattle noise from the head rest, they told me to fins out root cause, they need to take out heat rest and it’s whole day job, so I told technician I will come later and he went to the manager and after 1 hour manager came told me you need to pay $152 for diagnosis ever car is under warranty. In the bill they mention that technician work for 1 hours to find the problem, but after working hour they didn’t know what cause the noise they still need to take head rest. This is so ridicules you charged $ 152 for doing nothing. I will never recommend this dealership. I went other dealership for same problem they didn’t charges me single penny. Here I don’t have room other wise I uploaded each receipt from other dealership and this one. These people are so greedy. When manager can first to me that time he had $ 0 bill( work order) in his hand and when we went to counter he print out other receipts ( work order).
They rushed us thew the car buying process and we didn’t like that and walked out the door with no new car they need to change there staff
