Got a quick response to my online inquiry which was nice, but no real follow through after that. I am interested in a used car, but also have a trade-in. Filled out a form, but got no answer on the trade in. I am willing to drive the 250 miles to make this traction, but they don't see interested in selling their car or working with me on my trade in. I think it's fair to get some basic information before making that kind of trek.
My boyfriend bought his GTI from Amir, he was so indecisive about the kind of car but Amir spent time and helped him to find the car suited him the most. Process was easy and we didn’t feel any pressure. Thanks VW Boardwalk for the exceptional service.
TL;DR: A day after inspection, my f**king brake stopped working. I had my 2015 GTI inspected in early March 2018, which included exchanging brake fluid. Merely a day after when I was driving on the mountainous section of Skyline Blvd, the brake suddenly became ineffective. I pulled over right away and had my car towed back. Photos of the brake and the dashboard: imgur.com/a/55n3h The root cause was that the brake fluid leaked due to human mistake and Boardwalk VW did quickly fix the problem and reimbursed my tow expense. So one star for that. That said, fatal mistakes like this can get me killed so it's really a shame. It's a xxxx moving vehicle you are working on so if your mistake kills people and destroy families.
Please avoid this place if you can. The salesman and sales manager are very rude and arrogant. Yelp does not give zero star option so had to select one star. I locked out everything about e-Golf lease over the phone twice and drove there to find out from the sales manager that - it was a mistake made by sales person for giving wrong dollar amount over the phone and misleading information given about co-signer benefits. Please stay away from this place. There are so many other VW dealers in bay area.
This is the worst dealership ever. Rude, racist, and downright crooked. They will rip you off! I wanted to buy a car here and they tried to scam me by increasing the price then agreed to over the phone and then adding a bunch of misc fees to the contract. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!
