Luxury Auto Mall of Sioux Falls BMW can’t/won’t (take your pick) fix my car even though its covered under warranty. I have a 2020 330i xDrive that I have been leasing since 6/13/2020 and brought into service 6/25/2020 after spending several hours of my precious time on the phone with BMW Connected trying to get the remote services to work in the car-they told me then it needed a new Head Unit which is a $4k repair. So the car has been parked in my garage and I drove my BMW wagon throughout the winter-now its Spring, so I thought I will see if they have fixed this issue yet as promised by now "Should be fixed" and again after spending hours on the phone on hold and troubleshooting with BMW Connected it still doesn't work and hasn't been fixed (outside of replacing the Head Unit). This dealership keeps passively blaming the app because it is a $4000 repair they don't want to take responsibility for but is covered under my bumper to bumper warranty so I had to go in to BMW and prove it has nothing to do with the app and by once again (for the 101th time) getting BMW Connected on the phone to send the remote commands (Roadside Assistance) to unlock the car-failed, honk the horn-failed, pre-conditioning-none of the remote services work on the car-then had to wait to get a case #. Today is 4/6/2021 and they still have not reached out to me to get this fixed even though they already know the issue they don't want to take responsibility for. I spoke with BMW Connected last week and they advised all dealerships were aware of this issue because there were several of these model BMW's released with bad Head Units and the only remedy was replacing the Head Units and was confirmed this is covered under warranty. So I went to my dealership and of course they know nothing about it and still try to blame the app. I left my car and told them I wont pick it up until it works this time with or without the app...The same thing the app should do you can get on the phone with BMW Connected and have a human do by sending the same commands directly from their control tower to the car...they returned a failed message every time just like the failed messages I receive in the app-meaning that ROADISDE ASSISTANCE doesn't work....I will update my posting upon conclusion. I’m leasing a brand that’s supposed to have all the bells and whistles, I’m paying for bells and whistles, therefore I expect bells & whistles!
Wanted to update my previous 1/20 review. Sadly, I have to lower my recommendation. I purchased in January with the written understanding that the dealer would be taking care of tags/title since I would be titling in another state. In April I still had not received my tags and turns out they hadn't submitted them (I had assumed the holdup was the result of covid shut downs). I decided to handle it myself at that point, and the dealer was prompt in overnighting the needed docs and check to cover taxes paid at closing. But it has been a pain having to deal with getting the car titled in this covid environment. If it had been done in January I wouldn't have had to spend many, many hours of my time getting it done. Unfortunately, it has really changed the way I feel about my whole experience. Would not recommend the dealer for an out of state purchase, which is a shame since my initial interaction was great.
I had been looking for a CPO on a X5. I had a list of criteria, and found what I was looking for at BMW of Sioux Falls. Since I lived 700 miles away I was nervous about buying sight unseen. Btu from my first contact with the dealership, until I signed the papers, Jeff C. made everything a breeze. Before I even flew into town, the financing was approved and all paperwork overnighted to me for my review. I flew in, signed a couple of docs, got the run through on how everything on the car worked, and was on the road. All in about an hour. Jeff was knowledgeable, prompt to respond, and very courteous. Would highly recommend!
I purchased a used BMW X7 from this dealership to ship to CA. Spencer was the sales person and he provided superb service! I never viewed the car in person but was delivered an exceptional car. I ran into a few issues with the title being lost and he took care of it immediately.
While on a 6-week driving trip, our 2017 BMW indicated it needed an oil change. Although we're from Florida and not a probable future client, BMW of Sioux Falls service department fit our oil change and 10,000 mile check into its schedule to accommodate our car needs and travel schedule. Service was efficient. Waiting area comfortable. Staff friendly and competent. They exceeded our expectations.
Totally disappointed. Agent didn't know much knowledge. Just fooled by people. I spoke 30 min what I wanted then I signed the paper but the vehicle arrived without my requirements then I realized what I did wrong. They telling me " yes you said but you didn't choose and it got final". My wife extremely upset on new BMW. Then I back to store, then they took new order. Again same thing they didn't tell me about ( monthly loan payments and unforwarding luxury package. 1. By the time the second vehicle arrived i paid 2 monthly loans = 1150 $ 2. I am told again i have to buy new luxury package which cost me again 2000 $ total it cost me extra 3150 $ + my time + my wife disappointment + not using vehicle for 6 weeks as we were expecting new vehicle and we were told don't put plenty miles + many more.
