I set up the purchase over text. Showed up, signed a few papers and drove away. No hassle, or hours at the dealership. All went well.
they had the best customer service and went out of their way to help me purchase my vehicle
James was very efficient and friendly and knowledgeable. Tyler is also a great representative of your dealership. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and got things done. Thank you.
May 29th Update: I purchased a 2022 Nissan Altima from Lithia Nissan of Eugene on May 9. Immediately after purchase, the check engine light came on with a manufacturer service code. I immediately scheduled a service appointment and also began noticing an engine knocking noise. When I brought the vehicle in, I was told the issue was a failing alternator, which was replaced. However, the check engine light returned immediately and the engine noise persisted. After a second visit, the service department discovered metal debris in the oil pan and oil filter, ultimately diagnosing the vehicle with engine failure. Given the severity of these issues and the amount of time it typically takes for metal contamination and engine failure to develop, I find it difficult to believe these problems appeared after I purchased the vehicle. Before buying the car, I specifically asked about its condition and service history and was assured that it had been inspected (not mentioned of engine problems) and was safe and ready to drive. Based on my experience, those assurances do not align with the condition of the vehicle I received. What concerns me most is that a vehicle requiring an engine replacement was sold as a reliable used car. If these issues were present during inspection and missed, that raises serious questions about the quality of the inspection process at Lithia Nissan. Ive read several similar reviews from other customers experiencing the same thing. If damage/defects/problems were known about the car and not disclosed, that raises even more serious concerns. The dealership's proposed solution has been for me to use the warranty I purchased to replace the engine, or to trade the vehicle in for approximately $2,000 less than I paid for it. Neither option adequately addresses the fact that I purchased a vehicle that experienced major mechanical failure right after leaving the lot. This situation has caused significant inconvenience, including repeated service appointments, arranging transportation through friends and coworkers, disruption to my work schedule, and the loss of confidence that should come with purchasing a vehicle from a dealership. At this point, I believe a full refund is the most appropriate resolution and will update as this progresses.
They made the car buying experience easy and painless. We completed the process before our Jimmy John’s arrived. Now that’s freaky fast!
Easy transaction. My previous Prius blew a head gasket so I needed to be replaced for work. It had 385,000 miles and the repair was $ 5,000 so I didn’t want to do that. I replaced with the 2024 Prius in your dealership and rolled over the $9,000 loan I still owed on my 2021 a Prius. Got a 5% Selco loan, the whole process took 1 1/2 hours as they needed to value my trade in, verify the condition and come up with a trade in value. Super helpful salesman and the loan agent recommended gap insurance which I took since I’m coming out $9,000 above car value and my Monthly payment was very affordable. I’ve had the 2024 Prius hybrid for a week. Love the 50 miles to the gallon of gas. I drive it 85,000 miles a year. I’ve had three of them and they are the three best cars I’ve ever had. Zero maintenance on any of them until I get to 380,000. Including no brake replacements.
