I let them change the oil on my new Outback and now I can't get the drain plug off. What kind of an idiot would tighten it that tight. A few times like that will strip it out. don't take your car to these people that can't even change oil right.
BEWARE: these guys don't communicate well and don't follow through. I bought a 2023 Outback in summer 2024 from Huffman Subaru. The process of buying the car went fairly smoothly, but getting the dealership to follow through on our agreement has proven to be impossible. As part of the purchase we agreed that floor mats would be added and Huffman would provide/install a wireless phone charger in the car. The floor mats were provided, but they were "unable" to procure or install the charger before they encouraged me to pick the car up and finalize the purchase. Reluctantly, I went ahead with the purchase and they promised that they would mail me the part, I would get it installed at my local Subaru dealer, and they would reimburse me for that cost. After many calls and emails, they finally shipped me the part. I had it installed (~$380!!) at my local dealer and submitted the receipts to the used car manager, Dakarai Alexander, the same day with a copy to the general manager and the salesman who both helped with the purchase at Huffman. Dakarai verified my home address and promised to take care of the rest. After seven emails, verifying my mailing address three more times, and four phone calls, I'm cutting my losses. After each phone call I am told it is an issue with "corporate", Dakarai will check on the hold up, and "call me right back." There is never a call back. I have received no email responses and no reimbursement has been received to date. This has been going on for over five months now. I give up, my time is worth something. Word to the wise, don't trust these guys and make sure everything is as it should be before leaving the lot with the car. OR, better yet, just go to be better managed dealership. BONUS: They required me to buy a 3 year service agreement with their dealership despite the fact I live 5 hours away and can't use it AND the Subaru wireless phone charger is garbage - it overheats, charges slow/or not at all, and takes up space that is now unusable.
I drove up from Maysville after a bad experience in Lexington. Deontae and Jay gave exceptional service and I will be back! I love my Forester and Deontae made sure all the technology was set up before I left. Thank you, sir! This is the first car buying experience I actually enjoyed!
Timothy Johnson was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. His personality is unmatched. Will definitely look him up when I’m ready to buy another car.
Worst experience I have ever had at a car dealership. They kept us waiting for 3 hours. The salesman kept waiting on other people instead of getting us out the door. I will never deal with them again.
May not have rotated my tires as claimed they did. Air pressure different in each tire yet was same after rotation. For example left front was 38 psi and right rear was 35 psi and after rotating the left front and right rear still had the same psi when I asked how this was possible I was told it was a coincidence. So it seems the rotation was never done.
