DO NOT BUY FROM NORTH SIDE IMPORTS if you are a business owner relying on what they tell you about business credit. I spent $80,000 on a vehicle here and only moved forward because I was told multiple times that putting the deal under my business—and the amount I put down—would build my business credit and position me to use my business credit for my next purchase. That is the reason I did this deal. I have documentation of those statements. After the purchase, I confirmed the account was never reported to any business credit bureaus. It did nothing for my business credit. They told me this would build my business credit. It did not. That’s the bottom line. If that had been made clear upfront, I would have walked away immediately. Instead, I made an $80,000 decision based on information that did not turn out to be true. The follow-up afterward only made it worse. I was contacted in a way that made it clear there was no real understanding of what actually happened or why there was an issue in the first place. The only person I had a solid experience with was DL. Outside of that, be extremely cautious—especially when dealing with financing and management. Verify everything yourself in writing before you sign anything. Because of this, I am filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, and the Texas Attorney General. Business owners, protect yourself. Do not rely on what you are told, get proof. Do not do business with North Side Imports. Floors will call you with no idea what’s going on expecting to talk to you when his incompetent employees didn’t even tell him what is what.
