What Others Say

Craig & Landreth sold my 18-year-old daughter a junk vehicle. It leaked oil and had multiple mechanical issues immediately. When she tried to take it back to have it addressed, staff treated her poorly and attempted to charge her for repairs. She was in tears. This was her first car—purchased with the entire $5,500 she had worked over a year to save during her last year of high school. She had no money left to fix a vehicle she had just bought. We contacted the previous owners and learned Craig & Landreth had paid less than half of what they sold it to her for—and made no repairs before reselling it. When I spoke with Joey, his response was essentially, “That’s the risk of buying a used car.” I reached out multiple times seeking some form of remedy. No meaningful effort was made to do the right thing. My family had purchased several vehicles from Craig & Landreth before and trusted them enough to send our daughter there for her first car. That was a mistake. They took advantage of a young, first-time buyer and sold her garbage. That $5,500 was everything she had. Watching a company show zero conscience about taking it from an 18-year-old speaks volumes about their character. The experience was devastating for her and permanently soured what should have been an exciting milestone. We eventually repaid our daughter ourselves because we felt awful for referring her to a business that treated her this way. I reached out to Joey again recently—still nothing. It’s especially disturbing to see him publicly brag about spending $3,000 on a cheesecake for charity while showing no remorse for ripping off an 18-year-old fresh out of high school for $5,500. I guess one makes for a better photo op than the other. 🙄

Terrible experience with Craig & Landreth. My 2025 car had a paint chip right off the lot and no alarm system — I only found out when my car was broken into and nothing went off. When I went back for help, even after buying their warranties, they told me to “just go to the dealer.” The warranties were worthless and they took no accountability. Save yourself the headache — skip them and buy directly from the dealer so you actually get support.

I paid almost $20,000 for a hardtop convertible from this place and because they stuck an AS IS sticker on it they believe oh well too bad. But we will fix it for you for a price. Then you pay their price pluscan extra $40.00 for glue and they still dont fix it. Now their only solution is let us fix it no matter how long it takes and we'll chare you our hourly rate for as long as it takes. When I talked to one of the gentlemen there his response was " We are a FOR PROFIT organization and we aren't in the business of giving things away. But I gave almost $20,000 to them for a product I can only drive on sunny days. The whole thing is a scam. You buy a car from them and when something is wrong they will keep charging you till they get it right. I was never offered a warranty but from what I've seen thats just as big of a scam. You buy the warranty from them and then supposedly they split the cost. But they can charge you anything and tell you its half the cost. Probably a good thing I wasn't offered the warranty.

Extremely terrible customer service. The vehicle in question was offered well below its book value, so I asked for the chance to have a pre-inspection performed on the vehicle by a local mechanic. I was immediately denied and told I had to provide proof of approval via my financial institution before advancing.
