My husband and I purchased 3 vehicles from Danbury Dodge between 2018 and 2019. The sales experience was fantastic. However, once we left with our vehicles, that's where it ended.
I swore to my husband I would NEVER go back.
Our 2018 Ram 2500 we purchased in 2019 was ready for an upgrade. They had the exact truck my husband wanted...at Danbury Dodge. Reluctantly, I went.
We were met by Harry Shah as we walked in. I let him know that I didn't want to deal with them and why. His response was fantastic. He said, "give me a chance to change your mind. you won't be disappointed!"
Boy, was he right!
I am so grateful we stayed.
Harry went above and beyond to get my husband into his new truck. We had some issues to overcome with financing, but Harry guided us through what we might need. He was respectful of our situation and conveyed the issues to the sales manager, John discretely. We never felt disrespected or pressured.
My husband test drove the truck as Harry explained the ins and outs and all the new technology.
Both Harry and John presented the facts with NO xx...just straight forward facts.
That's not to say there weren't hiccups. But everything was dealt with and worked through. It felt like we had a team working with us...something that had been lacking before.
They made no promises.
They set no expectations.
Vehicle pricing, trade in value, extended warranty...all were within or better than what we were looking for.
And in the end, my husband took home a Certified Preowned 2024 Ram 2500 Big Horn!
Harry made our first service appointment.
During the delivery, he went over the truck with us again.
He answered all of our questions.
We sat with Robin in F&I to go over the deal.
We wanted an extended warranty to match the CPO and got exactly that.
We met the service manager, Quinn. who explained the changes and progress made in the service department.
The disconnect between sales and service had improved so much and the effort was continuing.
Harry made sure we had a second key and before he could call and tell us, the service department had already called to schedule us!!
I had a few more questions for Harry and he answered them all.
I have to say that THIS experience far exceeding our expectations!
A dealership that would take the concerns presented by their customers and work so diligently to fix them is rare.
