What Others Say

Our salesman was terrific; she was patient and helped us make our decision. Unfortunately, we bought a lemon that did not have functional slides. We took the RV back to the dealership, and it has been kept for a month; however, it is still not fixed. When we try to call, we get the run-around and excuses. This was a good investment, but at a terrible dealership.

I purchased a rv a week ago I took possession with temporary Florida tag I am unable to register it in my home state because the sales manager filled out the registration and title application wrong , I can’t get them to change it , I am stuck with an rv that I can’t register, I keep getting different answers every time I call and no one returns my messages, worst buyer experience I have ever had

HAD I ONLY READ THE REVIEWS FIRST!!! The salesman was great, the guys at the top directing their employees SUCK! I bought an RV on my visit to Tucson. Had to arrange the financing so scheduled a trip back the next week. Inspections on the vehicle were not done prior to my pickup. I was there ALL day for them to do the inspection, found out that the batteries were the problem. They literally asked me if I wanted to sleep in the RV in their lot cuz it had to be plugged in all weekend. They literally had to pay for me to stay in a cabin at the KOA. On Monday morn, they said it wouldn't be ready till after noon. I finally got out of the dealership around 2:30 AFTER I had to remind them that they hadn't fixed the exterior scratches nor had they topped off the fuels .It was a long 5 hour drive home, thru Phoenix traffic. The next day, it became obvious that they had NOT detailed the interior of the vehicle as was promised. One of drawer slides is broken. Unless I was willing to spend a day of my life driving back down to the dealership, they were not willing to pay for me to get it detailed here at home.

On July 20, 2024, we purchased a 2020 Four Winds 27R Class C motor home from La Mesa RV in Sanford, FL Over all in the appearance was in good shape. We discovered that after we left the gate about a mile away from the dealership we found right turn signal out. Called them and they said they would fix it. I was furnished a link to the manual it was approximately 600 pages. I called Thor and asked if I could get one, it was going to be $600.00. We spoke to the sales manager and he said that he would print one. Other issues are a Spare Tire with mount, Coach battery was had black duck tape on the cover of the awning. I decided to get there legal department involved and we came to terms and they did compensate us for those issues. On February 12, 2024, I took the Motor home in for servicing. I received a call from the service center they said everything looks good but the tire need to be replaced because they are dry rotted all were passed the 5 year mark., Dry Rot just does happen in 7 months they just disguised the tires with tire shine and RV molding lubricant. La Mesa RV Bait and Switch Sales Tactics… Thought bait and switch sales tactics were gone? No, they are still alive and well and practiced daily by La Mesa RV. In short, I was told by a La Mesa salesperson at the Pleasanton Alameda County Fairgrounds RV show (Jan '25) to put a down payment on an RV that I was seriously considering. This deposit would ensure that I had secured the vehicle from sale to anyone else for 24 hours. After completing all the form(s) to do so and providing them a credit card to charge the deposit, the Manager said unequivocally that "He can't do that..." I told him that I would have an answer in 24 hours whether I wanted to purchase the RV, based on my overnight review of the vehicle in question. The salesperson said that they do this deposit/purchase an RV regularly, which is why I decided to move forward with a deposit. After taking 2-1/2 hours of my time in moving the transaction forward, to post the deposit the Manager didn't care, nor make any attempt to honor what his salesperson(s) had promised to complete the transaction. The Manager approached the transaction like this was a common denial occurrence... I would recommend other RV vendors, as you simply cannot trust La Mesa RV. Who knows how long they will be around if they practice these egregious sales tactics. Just read their reviews by Google, Yelp and Trust Pilot, they are terrible. Additionally, they have an "F" rating by the BBB and numerous lawsuits that involve selling illegal vehicles and not honoring warranties to buyers of Rv's. Wish I would have done so prior to engaging in any dialogue with any of those dishonest employees... Date of experience: January 28, 2025

We bought our 2022 keystone aire travel trailer 10/21 and have had problems since the beginning. Our current issue is that the floors are sagging. The manufacturer says call the dealer and the dealer says call the manufacturer. So frustrating ! Hoping me email to the corporate Office will help !
