I just could not give an "excellent" rating because there were new problems that have cropped up with the new management at Subaru of Troy. I brought my car in for a NYS inspection. I always wait for my car in the lounge area. First thing I noticed was the tv was on a repeating commercial and never changed while I was there. Previously, the tv was on cable and game shows or talk shows were playing. Second thing I noticed was a sales person trying to talk customers into getting them to have an appraisal done on their car while it was in for service. He explained that their car can be used for a trade in on another vehicle and the benefits of purchasing a newer car. It seemed like I was there for hours with no tv to look at. I asked the service advisor about the tv not being utilized and was told that the tv was just a nuisance according to management. I don't think I will be waiting for my car on the next service trip. I also don't want a salesperson trying to get an appraisal on my 2015 Subaru Crosstrek. Please change the lounge area back to the way it used to be with the TV ON TO CABLE and NO SALESPERSON ANNOYING CUSTOMERS!
Because of being a caregiver it was difficult to go to dealership in person, however, I was able to call and tell my car salesman, Jeff Meadows, exactly what I wanted. He was able to take care of all the paperwork in advance of my actual appearance at the dealership. Mark Paone had checked all financial contacts and had paperwork ready for me to sign. This is my fifth Subaru and am very happy with the service I received that day and have been very happy with the service side of the dealership as well. Made appt on line, was told what to expect at the time of service and the potential cost of the service. Would definitely recommend to anyone the Subaru car and services that I have received.
Jimmer was such a big help in finding us a vehicle that met our needs. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, courteous and a genuinely kind person. We feel he went above what you expect from a car salesperson. If you need a vehicle PLEASE ask, ask for Jimmer!
We are in for routine oil change and Saifar always makes a point to greet us and say hello. He remembers little details about our purchase. Really a great guy
I just purchased a second time from Subaru of TROY. We were so pleased with our experience for a second time. We felt so comfortable working with Nate. There was no pressure and all questions were answered. Buying a car is not my favorite thing to do because I don’t like to feel pressured. I felt relaxed during my conversation, needed time to think, called back the next day and am so happy I again bought from this dealership.
My wife and I were not sure what we wanted. Nate was helpful in going through the features that we were interested in and which car had those features. When we decided what we wanted Nate went to work and got the exact car we were looking for. Nate made the whole process very easy from start to finish. We also appreciated the help from the Sales Manager, Cullan Hanna and the Finance Manager, Mark Paone. Great place and great people to buy a car from.
