What Others Say

Just bought 2023 Jayco White hawk 32RL. Nicole was our sales person awesome job and great to work with very helpful. We had a few little issues when we got home and Nicole was very helpful in getting them resolved.

The sales people were great, we felt no pressure and welcome the entire way. The finance guy was great and the manager were all very helpful. Thanks

Bought a brand new trailer and had to wait two weeks for the PDI to be done as well as a list of flaws that needed to be corrected before doing the paperwork and driving it home. When we showed up not one of the items to be fixed had been done and the repair list had not even been given to the service department in order for their team to get done. We were told that they would get it done while we were doing the paperwork and paying for the trailer, so what they did not get done in the two weeks that we had been waiting was able to be done within two hours. The trailer that we were looking at on the dealer website and we had chose was not the trailer that we were sold. The bunk size was different, the outside graphics, no electric tongue jack, no Murphy bed, no privacy curtain, along with other items that of course were overlooked by us. We were a little concerned by what we did see that needed fixed and focused on making sure that we had everything in writing as making a big purchase and paying cash in full we wanted to make sure we were getting a new trailer free of defects. We were also rushed by the salesman who was not very happy about being handed our appointment last minute due to original salesman being unavailable. At one point he took a phone call without excusing himself and proceeded to tell caller that he was trying to get out of there as quickly as possible but was unable to so far. When I did ask about the things that I had noticed the trailer was missing compared to the website specs I was told that I could pay $2000 more for the trailer next to the one I was being shown but that I would probably not find the items with the other trailer either. At no time was I complaining about the lack of things that were on the dealer website but I had also chose the trailer I did and drove two hours to this specific dealer based off of what I had liked reading the description and viewing the pictures. I did not think it was asking a lot for what I had been looking at purchasing that day. It’s now been 87 days and we just had a few days of rain and unfortunately when I was prepping the trailer for our trip in 6 days I looked at the light and saw discoloration along with water! So not even three months later and we have a roof leak! Not to mention a crack in the a/c unit that we had not noticed until the day after we brought it home, the vinyl is bubbling on the exterior, top of the door frame in smashed, along with quite a few small finishing details that make you ask why and make you frustrated for not having seen before handing over the amount of cash that we did.

Our sales person was great, and that's where the positive things end. We made it clear we were not purchasing that day and needed to run some numbers, check our finances, etc. They brought in a finance guy in who asked us to sign a piece of paper and said "This is just to hold it for a few days while you decide". Good thing I read the paper because it was a purchase agreement. They lied to my face in what was most likely an illegal act to trick us into a purchase. There is no way I would ever trust Camping World again for anything.

The sales person that we worked with was great, but their service department is lacking and would not suggest holding your breath to get them to work on anything. My husband and I bought a 5th wheel there. They had power washed it before picking it up. Water got into one of the lights over the bed and flooded it. As a result the light shorted, the radio did not work, and the heat element in one chair was not working also. After a month of trying to get them to fix the problem, we ended up purchasing the items needed and fixed it ourselves. Butter wouldn't melt in their mouth while they are selling you an item, and will bend over backwards to get you to purchase their products, but once that unit is off their lot, good luck getting any customer service afterwards. Sadly disappointed in the after treatment!

We went and looked at a trailer, 4 times, and were ready to buy it. . Had an appointment to make a deal and sign papers. At this point we called the sales manager and requested that they hook it up and let us see it work, as up to this point, we'd only seen the inside lights work. We were told they only do that on the day we pick it up....after a down payment, and papers signed. Husband said he's like to have a look, before we signed anything. Sales manager said "we've put $8000, into this trailer, and we're not putting another dollar into it". First, we hadn't asked them to put more money into it, we wanted to see what we might have to put it.. but seems they knew more was needed. Second, why are you expected to sign a contract to buy it before you know if anything, other than the inside lights work. Needless to say, we canceled our appointment, will never go back, and would advise others to avoid this dealer.
