Everybody in the service department was great! Was greeted at my car and was able to get the services done that I came in. My car was taken care of so great by the techs.
Bought a 2020 Ram pickup Nov '23 Inspection papers looked good, test ride seemed fine, salesman sold me. I'm 67.. first time I've ever regretted buying a vehicle! I'll be brief. A truly bad experience. 1st fib: if you finance, you'll save $1k off purchase. No you won't. Interest will cost hundreds. 2nd fib: interest will be <$300 on a $33k truck, no- it's $425 minimum plus hours on the phone to get it that low. 3rd fib- 30 day full warranty. Not. Drivetrain only! I was told otherwise. Not in writing, so "he said- she said". My electronics pkg had issue from day 1. Salesman wouldn't even look me in the eyes. NOTE* appointments for "anything" in the shop start out with a quick computer read out of possible ongoing issues. They DO NOT run that 10 minute readout on a used vehicle before selling it! That's policy. They "inspect" the vehicle without ever plugging it in for a readout of possible issues, and sell it that way?? Isn't that just wrong? 4th fib+: vehicle milage was off by 650 miles. When I came in for free 3k oil change (after only 2500 miles). Inspection now shows all tires are 1m lower , and replacement should be near term. Rear brakes are 3m lower- though I've been babying the truck to see what best possible milage is. They did NOT check tire pressure as they said the did, because one was 15# low with a leak. They did NOT put the oil cap back on, though in theory you can't close the hood with the cap in the resting place- super glad I checked before driving off! There's more, but you get the idea. :(( P.S. I found a nearby dealership with rates $60/hour cheaper.
I setup an appointment for safety recalls issued by the manufacturer including software update 97A (Repairs a rearview camera that does not display an image reduces the driver's rear view, increasing the risk of a crash). When I arrived, I was totally ignored by 5+ staff members for more than 15 minutes before I was acknowledged as even being there. I was finally waited on by a staff member after he finished a conversation about an early $100,000 buyout retirement from a local union. I was notified that my vehicle was ready for pickup. I picked up the vehicle and as I was leaving noticed that the 97A software was not installed but had a message on my screen to install the 97A software. The thumb drive with the software was left in my USB port. I messaged the service advisor that did apologize and ask me to bring the vehicle back in for correct installation of the software. The whole experience was very negative for me. I'm definitely not going to go back to Fury Stillwater for new purchases or service again.
Salesman was great,no pressure, just couldn't make a deal. Would go back for sure!
Your service manager Brad Hewer, and his "right hand" Dustin are completely incompetent! As my claim is sent to Brain not Brian as I am assured by Brad he verified the proper email was filled out himself. If only he had a brain maybe he would have caught it!! I would like my truck brought to your St. Paul location so I can have a competent team work on my truck, and bring what will now turn into a 10+ week repair to a acceptable conclusion! My truck was brought to Fury souly for the purpose of having a new transmission put in per my agreement with Ally. After my OEM new transmission has been approved I have your parts guy call me trying to talk me once again into a hobbeled remanufactured transmission. Dustin telling me going from a 6 speed to an 8 speed is like all but trying to reinvent the wheel, and you'd need to get engineers from RAM involved to even do it, as I'm also fed lies like they don't even make new parts! Then Dustin prices out a cold air intake when I inquire about wanting a Ram air hood?? All to just have Brad send me an email after I simply call letting him know Chrysler called to tell me there are now 3 recalls on my truck, this one involves the airbag, asking for a call back, leaving my number. I am given only an email in return telling me my transmission order has been cancelled, and apparently he'll just let me know when the next one arrives?? Making it clear another transmission has not been ordered yet!! And giving me no reason behind why my approved transmission order was cancelled!!! What a joke!! This has been an absolute xxxxing nightmare. I need a rep who can speak truth with integrity! That will be a welcome change of pace!! Incompetent and a complete waste of 2 weeks of my time!!! Happy to find an actual competent repair shop that can order a part approved and install. Obviously out of their ballpark, even when their being spoon fed!
Bassel really went the extra mile to help me. Having delt with mechanical issues from my previous car, he was able to help with the trade in, and find a car that more than met my expectations. He's sincere and considerate. I've bought several cars with Fury and they have always been great to work with, but my experience with Bassel has solidified my choice to use Fury for my and my family's needs.
