Hey Rod at Koons automotive found and sold me a 2017 QX80. I thought it would be days before the vehicle arrived, It was available within a couple days. Great salesman!
I had a very concerning experience with this dealership that I feel obligated to share. After my interaction with the dealership, the finance manager, Linden, called me and made threatening statements, including saying he would come to my home. I took this seriously enough to record the call, and I am in the process of filing a police report. This is completely unacceptable behavior from anyone, especially someone representing a business. I strongly urge others to use caution when dealing with this dealership. Based on this experience, I would not recommend doing business here.
I negotiated an over the phone deal for a 2019 Ford Super Duty. The agreed price was $51,000.00. At time of closing the paper work Showed the original Internet listed price. Almost $700.00 more. The sales manager tried serval different ways of explaining it away. After watching them take people in waiting before me to finance, 'I was next' and trying to get them to do the right thing about the price, I was just plain exhausted, so was my son. I caved and bought the truck. First time ever! I'm 67. Guess I was just done... Drove the truck home and the check engine light came on. Called them, they said "check the gas cap". Nothing we can do!!! I had asked the salesman Earl who I was working with, BEFORE I made the 2 hour drive to have a list of codes checked (screen shot them) Earl assured me there were none? I had my mechanic run the check, Yep.. same code showed up that EARL assured me was not there. TERRIBLE experience. To top it off the guy in the waiting room I was conversing with said he had bought a car right then also, however when he went to finance, THEY TRIED TO SELL HIM A DIFFERENT CAR!!!!! MORE MONEY!!! Should have been my clue to walk.......CRAZY, right? MY suggestion, RUN AWAY! One more thing, I went back on their site that night and the truck I just overpaid for was just lowered to $51,500. Same day I bought it! RUN AWAY..STAY AWAY... Hope this helps, Dennis
I had Domita she make sure you leave the lot with a car this was amazing experience
Long story short they approved me for a loan I drove 5 hours to get signed papers and they ran after me two other times trying to leave to sign more paperwork they forgot. Took car home they called two weeks later to my cell and JOB threatened if I didn’t call bank to do welcome pack they’d come get car so I called did welcome packet they called a week later again to my JOB-embarrassing- said they need more pay stubs the bank going to deny my loan so emailed them more stubs called last night at 8pm said I was denied loan and they’re coming to get car tried to call and work something out they are NOT empathetic at all and don’t care about their customers I will now be without a vehicle since I sold my other please don’t get caught in their yo-yo financing scam I filed complaint with ford motor company as well.
Kenn Shavers sold me my car three years ago. It is still in excellent condition. I have not had any problems. He has been very proactive in my purchase throughout the entire three years. I still recommend Kenn Shavers and KOONS AUTOMOTIVE of Woodbridge as a first class dealership. Get over to see Kenn Shavers right away if you are looking for a quality used vehicle along with First Class customer service. New! More ways to react to reviews.
