Never purchase a car from this dealership. They lack integrity and flat out lied to me. I recently purchased a low mileage used Range Rover Sport from them. During the process I specifically asked about the mechanical condition of the vehicle (among the items I asked about were the brakes, etc. condition). I was told they that they were fine and passed their so called "inspection". Well, 2 mos and 2000 miles of driving the car after purchasing, it developed loud squeaking noises when braking. Took it to a Land Rover dealer in Orange County near my home and sure enough the rears needed to be replaced (for $3,500) and should have been replaced several thousand miles before I purchased the car. So, I was lied to by the dealer and lucky that something bad did not happen because I could not brake.
DON’T BUY RANGE ROVER from JAGUAR LAND ROVER LA BREA! The salesman Gary and manager Jose tried to squeeze every penny out of me that they could - and then some. I had a signed deal when I ordered my car, and they totally reneged on it. Then tried to blame it on the banks. By the time they offered me the best deal they could - I would have paid for the car in full that I WAS LEASING by the end of the lease. Really sleazy business dealings. I have bought cars from two other Range Rover dealerships in LA, and they were great! This has never happened before. They are horrible guys and totally tried to rip me off. So if you want to buy a RANGE ROVER, or any car for that matter - DON’T GO TO JAGUAR LAND ROVER LA BREA!
This place ripped me off for almost $2000 in unnecessary and ineffective repairs on my 2001 XK8 engine light issue. A STAR station in Burbank fixed it for $200. Do not go to Jaguar LA on Labrea
10k+over on a vehicle + 6.1% interest rate on top tier credit.. ok. sure buddy.
This dealership is a prime example of why the automobile industry has such a bad reputation. They have the worst customer service on top of being fraudulent liars. I worked with Jesse Gutierrez in the service and parts department because my car needed it’s regular maintenance. He ended up doing repairs to my car that were not needed and without my consent. He lied on the paperwork and tried to scam me at every angle. After speaking with some people that I knew in the auto industry I learned that he had been fired for doing the exact same thing at another dealership in Santa Monica 12 years prior as well as cost the company over $50k in a tire scam. I met with the parts and services director Courtney Chasse to discuss what was happening and she was so rude and disrespectful. I have never been treated that way. She tried to tell me that I was in the wrong but after finally realizing that there was too much evidence of fraudulent actions caused by her associates she disrespectfully told us that she would not charge us but that she would never do business with us again. Unbelievably stupid.
Luke in Finance is a liar and a cheat. He promised me I could purchase my Platinum Package Service without including it in my vehicle financing. When I went to research my Platinum package or a repair, I realized that he had swindled me!! Even though I gave him the payment amount he quoted to exclude the Platinum package from the financing, He actually put the Platinum package into the financing and applied what he promised was the separate payment for the package into my down payment WITHOUT my permission...EXTREMELY DISHONEST!! In addition, when I called him out on it he LIED, LIED AGAIN AND THEN LIED SOME MORE. What a JERK. I am unable to fully appreciate my vehicle because Luke Grasso tainted it with his dishonest treachery in the financing. My vehicle will never again be on the lot of this horrible dealership - not for any reason - no repairs, no service, nothing. DO NOT BUY A JAGUAR FROM THIS CORRUPT DEALERSHIP!!
