I cannot, in good faith, recommend buying vehicles from Tim Moran Chevrolet. I do not think you are safe buying a vehicle here, and I do not think you are valued as a customer. Our experience is detailed below. We purchased a 2012 Camaro from Tim Moran Chevrolet on 6/11/2025. At the time of test drive, we noticed that the AC was not working, blowing only hot air. The dealership assured us that this issue would be fixed before we took the car home. Exactly one week later, I was driving alone to Utah through the desert in temps reaching upwards of 112 degrees and heavy construction traffic, when the AC completely stopped working. I was in danger of having a medical emergency from overheating, and our contacts at Tim Moran were not responsive after texts and calls - mu husband had to drive himself to the dealership to let them know the severity of the situation I was dealing with, and we needed answers. When it stopped working, I was already closer to Las Vegas than I was back home to Hemet, and after calling every mechanic along the way, I had to make it to Findlay Chevrolet to have them look at it. When I arrived, I had to take several minutes to lie down in their lobby and continue hydrating because I was bordering on heat exhaustion before I could even talk to their service reps. After renting a car to finish my drive because family and work were depending on me to be in Salt Lake that night, Findlay let us know that a diagnosis showed exactly what was wrong with the AC, and confirmed that this would have been caught by any service department doing a proper diagnosis for a broken AC. After my trip, I was able to get the car back to Tim Moran by altering travel plans, and we were assured on more than one occasion (confirmed in emails following phone calls) that we would be compensated one way or another for the trouble of related expenses as acknowledgement for the (as mentioned earlier) actual danger that I was put in by the dealership because they did not properly fix a known issue that they assured us was handled. Since then, we have been back and forth with several emails and phone calls to Delas, and are always promised something with no follow through. I have reached out directly to the general manager Sonny, and am waiting to hear back. So far, we have reached out on June 19th, June 20th, July 7th, July 14th, August 8th (no response), August 19th (no response), August 26th (no response), August 29th, September 10th (no response), and September 11th (still waiting for Sonny to return this call). They have already had every opportunity to make this right, and have failed to do so. I will update this review accordingly if they follow through on their basic promises.

The service department, and Alex in particular did a great job with my car. They kept me informed, and I got my car back right away.

Ryan in service really helped me out. I had o leave my car for a few days to get fixed, and Ryan got me a rental, and kept me informed. Good job.
