Took my Camry for an oil change. They told me my belt tensioner was bad $450.00 for the part plus labor. I bought a new one myself for $111.00 and when I took the one off the car that they said was bad. Was nothing wrong with it. Don’t buy anything from these crooks!!! They will SCREW you to death!
BEWARE OF BAD BUSINESS - A DEALERSHIP WILL MAKE OR BREAK THE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. THIS DEALERSHIP FAILED, AGAIN. Paid cash for my Tacoma. Love the product and the brand however, this dealership is running into the ground. Other than one person that will tell you the "sugar coated" truth (Thank you, Sonny. - not on employee lists) I am appalled at any Toyota service department that does NOT have tech's that properly know how to operate a scan tool. Tech 101, right?! Even after demonstrating the SOS record and recreating the fault while showing the service desk rep. (shaking my head). Wasted 3+ hours at Jay Wolfe Toyota that another dealership was able to immediately identify the issue of 'lack of ECM & system flash updates' that were needed. We have had this vehicle serviced here since the purchase , and never update the software?!...in three years??!! Had the experience of my vehicle coming out of service with loose bolts to where the bumper almost fell off. Frustrated but professional, we were done and departed the dealership. While exiting, the GM and/or owner was frustrated because of me calling out bad service, got in his full size SUV and nearly hit us and other costumers without stopping, driving towards the rear of the dealership. He's lucky. That's all I have to say about that. Anyway people....exercise extreme caution going to Jay Wolfe Toyota, or...Just don't go. The "Service" & other departments will work your pocket book while performing questionable work on your vehicle(s). (we have called the B.A.R. on this dealership). The GM and/or owner(s) are crooks! They have cheap suits that look like used car/shoe salesmen with little hair enough to say they have bad hair. We will continue to log complaints digitally while spreading the word about these dishonesty, unqualified poorly dressed small men wannabe "corporate" management idiots. DO NOT GO TO: Jay Wolfe Toyota. I'm sure Toyota Corporate will help them find a better way of conducting business. BEWARE OF BAD BUSINESS AT JAY WOLFE TOYOTA.
Trusted Mike Mansour to honor his offer for my trade in. He told me that my car was "mis-aligned" and would have to be sold at an auction and reduced my offer by $1000. I just checked their website and low and behold my trade in is listed on their website for $9000 more than I was paid. Bad business practices going on here for sure.
I wasted my time working a deal, only for them to refuse selling me a vehicle unless I purchased a $399 window treatment. V told me they FORCE everyone to purchase this treatment. They lost a deal and a future customer bc I wouldn't let them builly me into buying their treatment. Typical slimey car dealer behavior.
On 4/11 I put down a deposit on a new RAV4 Hybrid after being told these are hard to get, but by putting money down I was guaranteed to be able to purchase it when it became available in June. On 5/15 I get an e-mail (not even a call) saying that the vehicle was double sold (really?) and I could buy a different one in a color I did not want. The salesman said he could find me the same car with similar features but the base price was now $500 more. He said this was non-negotiable. Finally, after arguing with the general manager, the manager said they could honor the agreed-upon price. Then 2 days later he tells me that the vehicle will now not me available until late July. When I asked him why my original car was sold out from under me, the only answer he had is "I don't know." What was the point of the deposit if they can ignore it and sell the car out from under me.
I put a $500 deposit down on a vehicle, being promised that it was reserved for me to purchase when the dealership received it. A month later I received an e-mail (not even a call) stating that my car was double sold but they would try to find me a similar one. I later received an e-mail with a new window sticker for a vehicle close to what I had reserved, but the base price is now $500 more than what we agreed on. The salesman said he can not match the price we previously agreed on. I am wary of the bait-and-switch. I honestly do not know if they made an honest mistake and somehow did not enter the sale into their inventory system or if this was part of their plan, Either way, I should not have to pay for their mistake. I asked for a manager to call but have not heard anything. I would like for them to honor our original agreement, but if they refuse then I need my deposit back.
