After buying our new car, it's took two months almost and still no paperwork sent to get our tag. They keep calling saying their bank needs "more info" after we already turned our income in, and a $10,000 down payment. I have had to hire an attorney to handle this nonsense with this dealership! Do not purchase from this place unless you want a never ending headache!!
We live in Franklin, TN and recently purchased a new Rav4. We wanted quotes from several dealers, but it had to be a dealer which offered a lifetime powertrain warranty (we keep our cars for 10 years or more and usually put more than 200K on them). We found Jim Bishop Toyota while searching the internet for a dealer near us with that criteria. We did a late-night chat with their Internet chat operators and provided a list of criteria for the car. We were called the next day and asked a few clarifying questions. During that conversation, we were provided with valuable information about Toyota and how the options packages worked which we had not received from other dealers. We were then provided a fair quote later that day via e-mail. Unfortunately, Jim Bishop did not have the model we were looking for in stock, but they quoted one from a dealer in GA and would have charged only a small fee to have the vehicle delivered to Alabama. Unfortunately, the price was a few hundred dollars more than an offer we were able to arrange locally (without having to drive a couple of hours). Overall, though we did not purchase a vehicle from them, our experience working with them was great and we can recommend them, especially to anyone living around Tuscumbia.
