Drove an hour to get there to only be told that after being approved for certain amount that they don't have cars in that price range. But day before said come look at cars and if didn't like what was on lot would pull list of cars on their other lots. Totally bad business.
Do not buy a vehicle from glockner I paid cash had car less then 24 hrs blew up n they wont make it right or give me a refund. I contact attorney generals office and they are now handling it. They r crooks. Jeff of Ironton Glockner is heartless n they r a rip off. BAD BAFDD BUSINESS N HORRIBLE VEHICLES
Don’t buy from them. They are crooks bought a nice car from them. For them to take it back 2 weeks later. They didn’t tell me I had to catch up a current lone, ASAP. The bank said I could have 30 days. Glockner said no! They pray on the people who are in a bad spot. And need a car.
After sending my car there to get work done, I have been called 3 different times telling me that it will be delayed. Now, instead of going and getting my car this past Thursday like I was originally supposed to, I will have to wait until next week. Unless they delay it again. This is the second time I sent my car there. The first was two months after I bought the car off of their lot, when the engine blew up. This was after being told that all regular maintenance had been done to the car and the timing chain had been replaced. So, what caused the motor to blow up? Glockners technicians said it was a bad timing chain so we needed a whole new motor. Overall, I have had a terrible experience and will never do business with Glockners again.
I bought my Mercury Milan in 2015. I drove it for a few hours when the check engine light came on. The next day they had it in a dealership to fix the problem, of which hasn't reoccurred, and they covered the $400 bill. Since then I've moved to another state and admittedly fell behind a couple of times on my payments. Kristy from the main office has been very kind and understanding while helping me to get everything sorted out. I'm very glad that I went with Glockner.
My credit was horrible. But I needed a car due to husbands failing health and me being a student. Went to get a car. While doing paperwork we was informed we could not get that car because of the GM starter issues. The only car we could get was a Pontiac Grand Prix they were selling for 12,000 and only blue booked at 7,000. But I had no car so we had to take it! The salesman takes the car to fill it up with gas for us and comes back and leaves to car running so we can drive away with the car. I drive the car 7 miles home. When I get home I go to start the car and it will not start! Now I know why he left it running. It was the 3rd of July so the car had to set in my driveway until after the holidays so I was still without a car! They did agree to look at the car and fix what was wrong with the car. I was without a car while they fixed the starting issue. When we got the car back it still was not right. We took it back and they had to rebuild the whole front end due to it being unsafe to drive! This time they did give me a rental. I had the rental car for a month before my car was fixed (or so they claimed). I got the car back and everything seemed fine at first. Noticed quickly the car was not right. Called them back and asked if there was any way we could just get another car. We had had the car for 3 months at this time and had put 100 miles on the car. Was told no that we owed to much for the car to trade it in. And they had done all they would do with this car. Attempted to take the car on a 3 hour trip. The car was unsafe and I was forced to rent a car to make the trip. We decided at this point to just let the car go back and wash our hands of this horrible car. This is when we find out how unethical this company is. They claimed to have auctioned off the car for 3,000. The car was actually just titled to them under a different name and sold on their car lot for 10,000. However we are responsible for paying them 9,000 for what they claim they lost by selling the car at auction. When I got the paper stating we was going to have a judgement on us we contacted Glockner to try a payment arrangement to keep the judgement off our credit (which is now great, and we are trying to buy a home) they claim they are still going through with the judgement, which makes it impossible to buy a home, but will do a payment arrangement so our wages don't get garnished. I called them out on selling the car on their lot for more than I owed, so they lost nothing. It made them studder a little bit but that was all. I am still paying two years on a car they sold to someone else for more than I owe, and I can not buy a house for two years, credit is shot, and because of a legal loophole they can sell the car to themselves under different names it looks like they auction it off and lose money. I am convinced they don't care about selling cars. They get rich on repossessions. They get to sue the customer, plus sell the car at full value they ask for and never have to auction it. I agree I should pay something. But I should not have to pay 3 grand less than asking price because that's "all they got from auction" when they really just kept the car and sold it on their lot titled under a different company. Very unethical. Getting rich off struggling customers.
