What Others Say

Called from out of state about a vehicle I wanted to use as a show truck. Only requirement was no rust and everything working. Rich assured me it was in MINT condition with everything working and no rust. Based on his word, I purchased the vehicle. It is FULL of rust (they sprayed over it). It has a CHEAP paint job to hide rust on the body. None of the following work--AC, Seat warmers, passenger window, and lighter. No Spare tire. I called after receiving the vehicle and Rich avoids me for days. I speak with Tyler (his son) and he tries to make things right but Rich gets involved and says "you purchased it AS IS" ,. I did this based on his word. Moral of the STORY? TRUST NO ONE and Verify before purchasing a vehicle. I should have read his reviews, this seems to be something he is known for.

Well got a 8k truck. 24 days later blew up. Had to spend another 6k out of my budget. So now almost twice as much as I wanted to spend. The only help they would give was on labor.(you would think they would atleast cover half after selling me a lemon) took them almost 3 months to put new motor in. Lost a whole summer of events I had planed. Not to mention I had to take it back 4 times because of install. And still had a bunch of issue. I ended up taking it elsewhere at another 3k to fix. So I paid twice as much as I wanted to spend. Mechanic said they didn't do a bunch of stuff they should of on install. Like wire brush metal in oil, mds all should of been changed do to blown engine contentment clogging them. Ecm not upgraded causing lean fuel mixture, vehicle overheating on load. Clumps of sludge coming out on oil change. Leaking from valve cover, And a few other issues break sensor, faulty insterment panel, blower motor not working after I picked up last time. I paid for a engine install. Should of been done right after 3 months and how much I spent. This is my experience with this business. Ask your self if it's worth the gamble. It wasn't for me.

Slum lord. I actually bought the car in Dickinson and stuff broke on it. I asked him to help me fix it he even told me to let me know what the mechanic said and after I told them I only wanted half he said no

Went to look at a Toyota FJ. Beautiful car. Undercarriage super rusty. Daylight visible through suspension mounts. Owner insisted I wasn’t seeing that.🙄. Also had a lot of fluids bottom of the engine. All on a Toyota with 78,000 miles. That, the extremely rusty frame and the rudeness of the owner. Guy changed his tune a bit when I was getting ready to go, but still told me he knows everything about cars and there was no problem with the car. He is wrong. The car, as it sits, is a danger an shouldn’t be on the road. Stay away unless you are very knowledgeable about cars and can make an informed assessment of the vehicle.

Well I talked to them everything was good did can application over the phone with them all good and never heard back from them so I text and asked if everything was good and and still today never heard from them even if they couldn't help me itcwoukd have been nice to hear from them

We bought a 2009 Dodge Ram Laramie in Sept of 2021 for over $19,000.00. We traveled from Missouri Valley IA to look at this truck as the pictures on the website made it appear to be clean and in excellent condition. Carfax report was also good but dealer asking price was over $1000.00 over Carfax amount. We got there and the pictures were misleading as they did not show the damage to the leather interior of the driver's seat and it was not as clean as what the pictures portrayed but overall it appeared to be a good vehicle. We offered the Carfax amount and Tyler rudely told us he was firm on the price and he would fill up our gas tank for our trip back home if we wasted our time driving there. I looked at my husband and he knew my thought was let's go home but we had sold our 2006 Dodge Ram to our grandson to ensure he had a reliable truck to drive and which left us looking for some time for a good used truck for ourselves. We made the deal and the trip home. Later that day there was transmission fluid on our driveway. After taking the truck to our mechanic to have that repaired they noticed the strap on the gas tank was broke, another repair. Within the next couple of weeks we had to have the exhaust system and O2 sensors repaired/replaced. We are now experiencing a leaky sunroof with today's rain. I would also like to mention after 3 weeks we were still not able to license the truck as the title hadn't been received. When we called Tyler he advised us it would have sent via certified mail by now. He then did a search of the loan officer's desk and found it there amongst some other papers. PLEASE do not go to this dealership if you are looking for a used vehicle. We all work hard for our money and to feel so taken advantage of is a sick feeling. They deserve the reputation some car dealerships get for scamming their customers and treating them so poorly to make a sale. Russ and Tracy McHugh
