Every step of the car buying process with Crabtree Lexus was agonizing and tedious. They managed to make errors on every document they provided, they didn't initially supply the final signed paperwork, and for each and every problem there was to resolve it was met with antagonism and frustration. It's rare that a car buying process goes so poorly these days, but this was among the worst.

I recently purchased a 2026 Lexus RX 450h from Crabtree Lexus of New Haven, CT. With over 50 years of car buying experience and more than a dozen vehicles purchased — half of them Lexus — I knew the process could be painful, so I hired a car broker to help navigate it. Even with professional representation, this was hands-down the worst car-buying experience of my life. Crabtree Lexus appeared determined to take advantage of the customer at every opportunity — unfortunately not unusual in today's manufacturer/dealer model — but what set this dealership apart was a level of incompetence that was truly stunning. My strong advice to anyone considering a purchase here: retain a lawyer from the outset and keep meticulous notes and records of every step of the transaction.

Crabtree Lexus of New Haven is top notch! The staff were knowledgeable, informative, helpful and really super nice people to deal with! I just bought the 2025 Lexus NX 350H from Crabtree Lexus and I can’t be more pleased with the whole process. After I was turned away from another Lexus dealership nearby, my husband and I decided to give a try at Crabtree. Daniel welcomed us at the door and from there the car buying process was a breeze. Not only he was able to get a car for me that I love in transit, which arrived within a week, but also he was able to give me a good deal on the price. When we went to pick up the car, he was very patient to explain all the features of the car and help me to fill up the gas. The dealership also provides extra for the services. Overall I would recommend Crabtree Lexus to anyone who is looking to buy a Lexus and ask for Daniel.
